I am 50 years old now (6'3" and 215 lbs). I have done a few full 12 week test cycles over the years starting ten years ago and I always had great results and loved the way I feel on cycle. I recently decided to TRT cruise and started this cruise Oct 20, 2024 and went until Dec 27, 2024. My cruise was 125 test e per week, 100 primo per week and 2.4 iu's of GH Monday to Friday, and also 1 Cytomel pill every morning to help with fat loss. The goal was to lose a little weight and put on a little lean muscle mass and then maintain with the good feeling of the extra boost of test. It was working smoothly and everything was going great and then I left my country (Canada) for two weeks so I temporarily stopped everything altogether. It's now Jan 27 and I have stopped everything for a month. I started feeling lethargic and depressed about ten days ago. I was kinda expecting this to happen, I'm sure it is due to my low test levels. I decided to hold off restarting the cruise right away when I got back to Canada because I am going out of the country again for another 3 weeks very soon and can't take gear with me so I am planning on starting back up the TRT cruise right after I get back from this next trip in one month at the end of Feb. I will get bloodwork done a few weeks after I have started up again just to see where my levels are at. It's not easy to get all the bloods taken in Canada other than from my doctor, which I can't ask very often so I have some questions:
1) How long it would take my body to start creating T on it's own again after only two months of that cruise? 2 weeks or 2 months or 2 years?
2) Does anyone knows another way to get bloodwork in canada (or even the US) from a private lab that doesn't cost a fortune? I wish there was an easy way to monitor your bloods monthly.
3) I am planning on starting this same TRT cruise up again in one month but just wanted to get some thoughts from anyone who has done something similar. Once you start a TRT cruise do you need to keep it going for the rest of your life, and keep a close eye on your bloods? Or, do I need to do this "cruise" for a maximum of 6 months and then do some sort of PCT before starting the cruise again?
If the cruise continues, I am sure I will need to stop the primo (or reduce it) at some point but I know primo helps control my estrogen levels and I love the way it makes me feel as opposed to arimidex (I am a little susceptible to gyno).
I sincerely appreciate any help or suggestions from people that have experience managing this sort of "cruise". Thank you.
