I will do my best to keep this updated at least every other day... I'll give a little history as I did in a previous post:

I haven't posted here since 2015. Around 2019 I got really sick, and had a misdiagnosis of MS. I sat with that until late last year. I still worked out, but got progressively worse. Test levels dropped to 62, my weight jumped to 235 (I'm only 5'6"). I got a trainer who set a good food plan for me, and since end of march, with diet, cardio and lifting... plus TRT (only 100mg a week), I'm down to 215 as of this morning. I'll add my previous pics, then me at 235, and today.
I'm working through some elbow issues and a ganglion cyst on my left wrist, but my strength is coming back, and I continue to drop BF, thank god... lol! I'm currently 48 years old, work from home and raise a 12 year old boy all by myself. Life is a bitch, but I'm about to make the gym my bitch again. :) No processed foods in 2 months...

The ones with glasses are me March 29th
Pics with Hat are from yesterday and today
Punisher Shirt: 5 months before I started to get sick, and the same red shirt and jeans, was right before I got sick. It's been a journey...

@InkAndSteel welcome to the EVO family! happy to see you share with our family. You look great, big guy and you have a lot of muscle mass there, you'll lean out perfect.

This will be an incredible journey and we will do it together bro :) as a big family we will guide you.

On the training, can you share your actual training as you go, exercises weights and reps and sets. It would actually show us how much muscle vs fat you losing and your success as you go.
If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

pics
also a few pics of your training as you go
a few pics of meals as you eat them would be nice
and pics of your TRT gear

Diet, think your diet is good but we can make many improvements
first we can replace rice with oatmeal on meal 3
and meal 2 you should go with sweet potatoes /yams with skin for the extra fiber
you also lack omega 3 fats, add some fish oil or walnuts
and daily psyllium husk add it please

I will get to adding and such this week, and I do track my workouts. Had to adjust due to bicep tendinitis and a damn ganglion cyst… but I’m still at it. I do have psyllium husk available. Pics I shall add tomorrow.

good to hear you are doing your best to avoid processed food

just make sure you are aware that protein powder and egg whites are processed.

i would suggest homemade bone broth and whole pastured eggs instead of those 2 things to take things to the next level

I should say the ultra processed foods… and I don’t use eggs whites from the carton, only from the egg. :)

How much of a head fuck was the misdiagnosis of MS?
That was fucking horrible… I swear I developed symptoms I didn’t have because of it. I had white lesions in my brain, but a third neurologist looked and told me they’re fairly normal, and didn’t suggest MS… they did total blood work for vitamins and my b6,b12 and D were dangerously low… I got on good vitamins, and then the test… and within 6 weeks I felt fucking normal. 🤦‍♂️

May 17th, 2024

I should state Injuries and Medications I'm on as well:
Bicep Tendonitus (left arm)
Ganglion Cyst (left wrist)
DJD (S5-L1)
Factor 5 Lidem (genetic blood clotting disorder)

Mediactions:
Eliquis - Dr bumped to 5mg 2 times a day as I told him I will be on gear again
Lipitor - Again, Dr gave just a little bit higher because of same reason
Propanolol - Same for blood pressure
(my dr takes care of me... lol)
He'll also prescribe Enclomephin when it's time as well...

Went in and hit shoulders today, to figure out where I stand... forgot to wrap my elbow so I aggrivated it a little, but all good. Work out was as follows:

PWO meal and supps:
1/4 cup oats
scoop ISOPure
1/4 cup Blue Berries

PWO:
Karbolyn
Dust X

Intra:
rest of Karbolyn
BCAAs

Post:
BCAAs
Creatine with HMB
Portein shake
2 mini rice crispy squares

Workout:

Hammer Strength Seated ISO Shoulder Press:
10x90lbs (each arm)
10x90lbs (each arm)
8x90lbs - drop - 12x45lbs (each arm)

Lateral Raises:
15x15lbs
11x20lbs
12x20lbs - drop - 15x10lbs

Chest supported Rear Delt
12x10lbs
12x15lbs
12x15bs - drop - 15x10lbs

Front Plate raises
12x25lbs
10x45lbs
10x45lbs

Ok so far looks good. Next week when you do HS shoulder press you should bump that up by 2.5-5 lbs on each side and try to get the same amount of reps. You be surprised how such small amounts over time turn into massive gains. Body wont grow unless you force it too. The body hates to change. Force it!!!

Progressive overload does wonders. :)
