TRT help from expert

I have been reading lots of posts and doing research about TRT. I have decided that I want to start.

There is so much information - most of which is conflicting. I just need it from someone with expertise in the area.

I am nearly 50 years of age. While I still feel pretty good, am active and still train BJJ, I still feel like I need some extra 'oomph', as I am getting fat around my midsection, getting tired toward the end of the day, have minimal muscle mass, take a long time to recover from training (it exhausts me, even the next day after a hard BJJ session), and don't feel I am as "switched on" as I once was, I feel a little 'blue' at times... nothing serious, I just used to be more positive in my outlook.

1. What TRT should I buy?
2. Do I need to take something to prevent female hormone production?
3. Could I get started with tablets, just to see how I go? I realise there may be liver issues, but for my first cycle, I don't think there would be too many issues, would there?

My goals, in order of importance, are:

1. Be more focused and positive.
2. More stamina, speed, and endurance (mainly for BJJ)
3. Lose belly fat
4. Build some lean muscle, not like a bodybuilder, but athletic
5. Better recovery so I can enjoy BJJ more frequently.

What I want to avoid:
1. Female hormone production
2. Hair loss
2. Bad temper
3. Stopping my natural testosterone production.

if you run your trt dose at the correct amount. This means that you're running it and not overdosing it too high. Then estrogen won't be a problem

the main problem I see is guys go on trt and they're running 200 or 300 mg a week and then they complain about estrogen

@enduroman welcome to evolutionary.org, this is the right forum to discuss TRT

your goals are reasonable and can be achieved with self-TRT for sure, but before you start your TRT journey please understand we know NOTHING about you, like literally nothing except that you're 50 years old
what we need from you is for you to share your log journal with your diet training with the community so you can be properly guided into TRT

To really guide you we need more info, we need you to share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.

If you want us to really guide you, and we have 100s of years of experience between us, you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Please post a Log Journal asap for us

That's not how it works

Nor is that.

You might wanna do a tad more research

you should not be online asking people for trt advice... you should be seeking a professional endocrinologist first and foremost.. we have a ton of experience with it, certainly, and many of us are on it but each person has their OWN certain circumstance and you should always seek the help of a professional about something like that...

log your trt journey. This way we can adjust things as you go along and help you. At this point we know nothing about you

without knowing your diet, training, how you sleep, what supplements you take and your steroid history how can we really help you? I'm Pro self trt but you need a log immediately

log this for sure
a daily log has helped so many people on here. We have several guys who have done T RT log so far

whether you choose to go to a doctor for help or you choose to do self trt it doesn't matter
either way you should be logging it on here so that we can help you with the other stuff that doctors won't help you with

get a log Journal up and going. If you do that you'll be able to get the best help possible and we will all support you

please share more information with us. We need to know everything about you. Pictures are wonderful just block out your face so we can't see you and it's anonymous

I've elected to just stay on steroids myself. Best decision I ever made. Keep in mind I'm a professional and I need to be on them year round

you have regular TRT
90-150mgs a week test
and you have sports TRT
usually 200-300mgs a week test

Stevesmi has ya covered
