Hi all,
I've probably dealt with a lot of you in the past prior to my closure back in 2020. I'm the original owner and founder of AusJuice, AusMeds and Platinum Anabolics (you'll know me as AJ). I built AusJuice back in 2013 (initially running on various darknet markets) and eventually launched onto the clearnet in 2014. We were considered by many as pioneers in the Aussie domestic scene as well as the most reliable having been Australia's longest running online domestic source at the time.
There's been a lot of confusion over the last 4-5 weeks which I'd like to clear up. I haven't been given the opportunity to do it on any of the other Aussie boards as the person who has been impersonating me by re-registering my domains happens to sponsor a couple of them. Naturally, the mods immediately delete my posts and enforce a ban to silence me.
Hopefully my efforts here fare better but before I proceed and bore you with the details, there is a very simple way that I can verify who I am.
If you've ever ordered from AusJuice or AusMeds between 2014 up until our closure in 2020, simply shoot me an email: [email protected]
I'll be able to provide you with completely verifiable information by supplying you with your previous order information (order IDs + complete order details) - along with any other questions you may have. I implore you to try do the same with the the site operators who are impersonating me. They'll dodge the question and give you some bullshit answer about 'scrubbing order data', but why is it I can supply it and they can't? The truth speaks for itself.
Onto the facts:
When did AusJuice and AusMeds close down?
AusJuice and AusMeds officially closed in October 2020. We closed our checkouts, however we continued to operate for another month after this (checking email and responding to customers/reposting orders/checking for anything we may have missed etc) to ensure that all customers received their orders and to resolve any issues that may have surfaced (ie: missing or incorrect products in their parcels). We gracefully shut down and we did the right thing by all customers – something I am especially proud of.
Why did we shut down?
COVID presented many issues which resulted in multiple supply chain shocks that made it difficult for us to get the material we needed to manufacture new products. Adding to this was domestic AusPost delays which meant parcels were taking days or weeks to arrive. Imports were also undergoing rigorous biohazard security scanning and anything from China was under heavy scrutiny which dramatically impacted seizure rate.
And finally, during all this chaos, one of our trusted employees got raided which affected our operational security and put the rest of our team at risk. Put simply, things were just way too hot for us and we wouldn’t have been able to maintain the level of quality our customers were used to, and even more likely, during the crackdown after the raid we were only putting ourselves at risk. The safety of our customers and my employees will always come before making a dollar.
What happened to your domains?
During our hiatus, our AusJuice and AusMeds domains expired and they were re-registered by unknown parties. They are not ran by me and I have no affiliation with them. Both sites are using a copy of the sites I designed - likely stolen/copied using archive.org references. Either way, I have no association with them and anyone claiming that we do are blatantly lying.
Why are you back now?
The hiatus was brutal for us, especially me. While AusJuice may be seen by many as just some ‘gear website’, it’s more than that to me. While what we do may not be considered “legal”, I operated it very much like any successful and reputable commercial retail business: with great customer service and great products.
I completely immersed myself in this industry and eventually it formed my identity: AJ. When we first launched our clear-net web in 2014 we cemented our place in the Aussie scene. There were no other sites doing what we were doing or at the scale we were doing it at. Across multiple forums we have pages and pages and pages of positive reviews. Our commitment to you and our business has been proven time and time again, this time will be no different.
Our reputation was, is, and always will be paramount to me. I spent a decade building it and I wouldn’t do anything to tarnish that.
Anything else?
The operators impersonating me/my old sites are actually fulfilling orders. Putting aside all the frustration they've caused me, I consider this a plus as they're at least not scamming people. They've also gone to some great lengths to counterfeit our 'Platinum Anabolics' vials too by trying to replicate our original transparent labels and lids. They got pretty close, but not perfect. Those who ordered from us over all the years can pick out the differences in the vials (the embossed lid is completely different, addition of gold, some missing content, and I think I saw an expiry date too). I know our imposter friend is here on these forums as well - so if you're reading this 'Max', shoot me an email. I can provide you with the original design files for the labels if you come clean about everything
Putting all the petty bullshit aside, they saw an opportunity and they took it. I dropped the ball by letting the domains expire so it is what it is.
My main focus now is rebuilding. It took me almost a decade last time and I'm not worried if it takes me another decade now. I'm here for the long haul.
In the end, quality service and quality product will prevail - and karma always has a way of going around
Happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Cheers
AJ
