What are the alternatives to TRT?

I am 29 years old, but my blood test has showed that my testosterone level is very low (270). My doctor told me that I should start with a testosterone replacement therapy, but this seems to me like a very serious step in my life. Is there any other reliable way of solving this problem without going into the replacement therapy? I would greatly appreciate any help, so I can avoid these serious actions.

Have you used AAS in the past? If not, and if the doctor has already ruled out other causes (which he should have done via blood work) then there really is no other step you can do. Your body has simply started to fail in its production of testosterone. It is like a diabetic and insulin...something in the body breaks and there is nothing you can do about it.

Let me save you a lot of suffering, skip past the gels and patches and go straight to injections. They are far superior to all other methods.

If there is no other cause, don't fear the trt. I'm about to be 42 and 2 weeks. I have worked out ever since high school and I never was able to see much change in my workouts. Relatively no gains on definition or strength. I had my t checked over 2 yrs ago and it was 109. Relatively fit, no health issues. I suspect I have had low t even in high school. Some guys just don't produce t the same as others. It's all in the genetics. Since being on trt, my health has been better, workouts are better and appearance is like night and day difference. I wouldn't go without it. Looking back I can Remer guys that just made gains so easy, must have had the genethics and t production. Frustrated the shit outta me.

Your best option is going to be a good quality non-hormonal testosterone booster such as HCGenerate or HCGenerate ES from n2bm.com
http://needtobuildmuscle.com/store/HCGenerate-ES-PreOrder-p238.html
http://needtobuildmuscle.com/store/-HCGenerate-p45.html

It will increase the amount of testosterone your body naturally produces. You are fairly young so the supplement alone should bring your testosterone levels into the normal-high range. Both products are non-hormonal and don't require a PCT so you can alternate between the two indefinitely.

I understand what you are saying. It's like being told that you have to take a medication for the rest of your life.....

I think for you...if you arent into being on trt for the rest of your life then take muskates advice and see if a natural test booster helps you.

Having said that....keep an eye on this and get regular bloods done to monitor your levels. Having low t can really cause some major issues with your health, mood etc etc.

I commend you for not wanting to jump into something so quickly. Educate yourself on the topic and go from there. Good luck

I would consider using HCGenerate ES first, and see what kind of results it will give you. It has a well proven ability to increase test levels, so you might as well be well off with just that supplement. If not, TRT is not all that dangerous...just an injection once per week for some good feeling.

You could try hcgenerate es, lots of good sleep, eating healthy, exercising. In the end though, I feel that trt is your best option. It is safe and will be monitored by a doctor. He will have you get blood work to make sure everything is good too. I bet you would feel amazing with normal to high normal test levels.

My hold-up on TRT is this:

What happens if I don't have consistent access to it? I'm thinking of ex-patting in a few years to a rural Central American area. I have no idea how possible it would be for me to keep up with injections there. If something happened and I was unable to receive my shots for an extended period, I'd have zero T. Then what? Just die?

So maybe my choice is 200s-300s test for the rest of my life, OR shelve my dreams for living abroad.

If you are looking to move to Costa Rica, it appears that both HGH and testosterone are legal to purchase and use. I assume you need a doctor's scipt, but I easily found a wellness clinic located in Costa Rico that will provide both to you legally...they are located in San Jose. https://www.antiagingcostarica.com/hgh-san-jose-costa-rica-human-growth-hormone-testosterone/

There are no OTC items you can buy that will boost testosterone. At least none I have found. Before trusting any product that says it boosts testosterone (other than testosterone itself, obviously), ask to see before and after use blood work.

It's actually another nearby country. I seem to have found a similar clinic there.
My worry is more for major unexpected issues - hurricanes that wholly wipe out areas (possibly my source, etc), road construction that shuts off rural areas for months, sudden regime changes, that sort of stuff.

I think my current plan is:
* Get on TRT
* Plan on ex-patting in 5-8 years
* Try a HPTA restart one year prior to moving date. If that fails, consider alternative options

I don't know if close to a decade of TRT (with hCG to maintain testicular function, I suppose) is too long to even realistically consider the possibility of a restart. If I were able to restart to SOMETHING (even into the low-mid 200s), I'd be happy at that point. I'm only at 300 now, at age 31. If I could manage that, I could then just use SERMs after that and have the ability to produce my own stuff if my supply ran out.
