Veteran Log Why fasting helps you live longer, helps build more muscle. and my prolong fast LOG

so this week has been weird. i got in workouts earlier in the week but the tail end of the week i have been dealing with some housekeeping issues and helping family with some stuff. managed to do some cardio this morning so that is good. if i can get in a workout tomorrow morning would be ideal but if not i will try for sunday if i can't get my errands done on a busy week.

the last 2 days i was able to go fishing for a few hours and got skunked on both trips. really pissed off about it because the first day i went the fish started biting as soon as i left for about 3 hours.. the next day i went back and they were biting in the morning so figured there would be a good PM bite too like the day before and there was NOTHING again for me. in 2 days i got 1 bite total and 0 fish. probably my worst 2 days of fishing in my life. but thats how it goes. hope to get in 1 good workout this weekend and try fishing again but we will see.

todays meal was:

top round steak
air fryed potatoes mashed
brocolli
coconut yogurt
and rice cooked in broth

one of my new favorite meals i put together and prepped enough to last me 3-4 days.
 
Meal of the day. Fresh caught mackerel. Brown rice. Broccoli and air fried potatoes.

Worked out Thursday. Friday and this morning cardio. Then tomorrow will do a midday fasted session.

@stevesmi fishing up and down right bro? and can you 'chum' the waters lol not sure we do that in fresh water just throw in liver and you get a ton of fish

during winter its hit or miss.

today was lots of fish but of course i wasn't there. i will try again tomorrow and get up pics of the fish

Had a sick workout this morning and got some sweet potatoes and beef to grill up. Will cook the sweet potatoes in the air fryer

my buddy zacass who is also a member on here sent me a couple good articles on the benefits of gut health and mental well being. people do not realize how important gut health is to the entire body from head to toe. bad gut health= sick body.

fasting is great for gut health, its the only way to recycle cells in the gut and repair the gut
