Why you need to set targets as an athlete

Mobster says he doesn't care if someone is a bodybuilder, looking for a beach body, going for strength, or anything else. One of the things you need to be aware of is that there are a large % of people who go to the gym just for something to do.  He uses the bowling analogy of you go there to have fun and play around and you aren't concerned with improving.  Regarding the gym grind, we take that seriously and want to get better across the board.

The key is to push yourself to get better beyond what is comfortable.  Mobster gives the example of him being a strength athlete and how he has progressively improved over the years and is still setting new PRs even at 60 years old.  His target has been strength and not aesthetics.

Steve gives the example of Arnold in the 70s when he was competing at the Mr. Olympia.  He got a phone call saying his father was sick and dying in Austria and that he needed to go there right away. He told his family that he was 100% focused on his training did not want to have distractions and would worry about his father when the Olympia was over.  Steve says this seems harsh but if you want to be a champion you have to zero in on what your goals and targets are without any sort of interference.

Steve then tells a story about when he was training for a triathlon around the holidays and he had family in town who were guilt-tripping him about his diet and him not spending time with them.  He nicely told them that he was focused on his triathlon and they could either support him or they could stop talking to him because he had goals he wanted to accomplish.

Mobster says that he has ruined relationships due to the selfishness necessary to be an elite athlete and he has seen others in similar situations going through divorce. They give the example of Tom Brady who chose to become the GOAT and put his family 2nd.  Again, it seems harsh but that is what happens.

Simple target-setting strategies

Mobster says setting targets is important and it depends on what you are trying to accomplish.  He says when it comes to strength training it's going to be a target weight you want to be able to push.  When it comes to bodybuilding it's going to be what place you want to be.  Or if you just want to be a gym rat imagine in your head what you want to look at in the mirror.  The nice thing about weight training is the more hours you put into the gym over time, the more progress you will make, and the more muscle memory you will build up.

Steve says there is such thing as the laws of attraction.  You must visualize your workouts on the way to the gym, what your goals are, and how you plan on accomplishing them.  Just like how Tom Brady dreamed and set a goal to be a Super Bowl-winning QB.

 

What PEDs have helped hit targets

The guys then get into their favorite Para Pharma products that have helped them hit their goals and targets.

Mobster loves their Anavar and Para Pharma has both the 10s and 50's available depending on if you are a female or male.  He likes to use it for 50mgs a day as a male but says females can run it 10mgs a day.  This is a great strength cycle for 8 weeks.

Steve goes over a good one for mass and strength that he used.  It was using Deca and Testosterone together.  You can also use Sustanon or NPP which Para Pharma has as well.  He likes 12 weeks where you use Deca 400mgs a week and 500mgs a week Testosterone.  Or you can run 200mgs Test with 400mgs Deca that way. In both situations, you should use an AI and you should use Proviron.

When it comes to endurance a great one is stacking HGH, Tbol, and Equipoise.  HGH 1-2iu's per day, Tbol 20-30mgs a day, and EQ 250-300mgs a week is what he recommends.

Mobster also likes Dbol and finds a dose of 30mgs a day perfect for strength and mass.

Steve also likes Trenbolone and Para Pharma has you covered with options. A dose of 250-350mgs will have you hitting all-time PR's but save it for when you are experienced.
