HGH Deficiency

Let’s see if anyone can help me out here. This is a long one, so pull up a chair and pour yourself some coffee…

Rather than this question being about bodybuilding, it’s actually about hormonal optimization and deficiency treatment.

Since I was a wee lad, I’ve been diagnosed with hypopituitarism (HGH deficiency), hypothyroidism, and hypogonadism (low T). Something in my HPA axis just doesn’t work, apparently.

Currently, I’m on the following medications and doses:

– Somatotropin (Norditropin): 0.7 mg/day
– T4/T3 (WPThroid): 0.75 grain/day
– BHRT Testosterone Cream: 1 mg/day of 10% cream

I recently stumbled upon an article at SelfHacked.com talking about this supposed miracle that is MK-677. I’ve also read the numerous scientific studies that show that MK-677, in fact, CAN be used to treat HGH deficiency (in both children and adults). However, I also noticed that there was an increase is serum insulin levels with MK-677 treatment alone, and also a possible rise in serum cortisol levels.

To make a very long story short, here’s what I’m asking and why I’m asking it…

Could MK-677 replace my current HGH dosing and if so are there other compounds I could take with it for thyroid and testosterone┬átreatment that wouldn’t (relatively) break my bank account and that would also help keep my cortisol and insulin levels in check?

The reason I ask is because I’m looking to possibly launch myself into self-employment and paying the insurance/prescription costs for my HGH medication would be outlandish – I’m talking close to $3K PER MONTH (without insurance).

So…if I could theoretically replace my prescription with MK-677 dosages, that would be a God-send. Not to mention the fact that it’s room-temperature stable and doesn’t require injections (of which I’ve been doing since I was 12 years old).
