Introduction
Welcome to Evolutionary.org Hardcore 2.0 #100 [SPECIAL]—The history and favorite episodes 100 Special. In this episode, Steve and Mobster discuss how the podcast got started, its objective, their favorite episodes, their aims for its future, and their thanks to all.
How it got started
Steve tells the story about the podcast's history and how he has worked with other co-hosts and guests. He said that overall it was a great experience but sometimes you are dealing with flakes, grifters, or people who are dishonest in this industry and it frustrated him. He also says that he has gotten into verbal arguments with some of these people off-air and when you mix in steroids/hormones it can get explosive fast. Just like any show or series people aren't always going to agree and there are disagreements that people have to work out. Mobster came on board the podcast because of his gifted ability to communicate and be a great talker. Steve says the synergy they have is excellent and it's allowed the podcast to blow up where now they are doing 3-4 podcasts a week on average.
Mobster says a podcast is sort of like watching a football game where you have 2 people who have a yin and yang relationship back and forth. He says that he is an ex-supplement company owner so he has a good background in the industry. During COVID he was invited to come on some podcasts and that is where he got noticed by the Evo team and brought onboard. He also makes the point that no matter how much knowledge a person has, when you put a microphone in front of them they can freeze up and can't talk anymore, so doing a podcast is very different.
He says that a big part of the success of this podcast has been the ability to motivate others while also being entertaining. This allows sponsors to want to support the podcast and helps keep the podcast going.

Choice of favorite episodes
Mobster says the top episodes have been the ones where they talk about what steroids professional bodybuilders are using. These podcasts are fun because they can go over what the different steroids are all about.
Steve says his must-watch episode, which might not be the most popular one, that he recommends is #94 where bloodwork is talked about. This episode can save your life because steroids will cause existing issues to become more pronounced thicken up your blood and strain your organs.
Another great episode that was very popular was #90 which was separating the facts vs. fiction when it came to using Deca and Equipoise.
Episode #68 was Mobster's favorite episode as it was a tribute to one of our reps on the forums who passed away recently doing what he loved which was bodybuilding.
A very popular episode that Steve brings up was #47 where the guys talk about shredding down with Anavar and Masteron. This is a great podcast because many of you want to have that beach body and show it off.
The objective of the Evo Hardcore podcast
Steve starts the segment by talking about the objective of why the Evo Hardcore 2.0 podcast even exists. He says it isn't to preach because preaching and ranting doesn't work. Nobody ever converted their views based on people coming up to them and preaching their opinions and beliefs. Rather people learn and get educated by being given the scientific facts and anecdotal information that has been gathered over the years. The other aspect is things will evolve, and it's important to be flexible in your fitness ideology so you can learn.
An example of this is the bro science found in bodybuilding magazines from the 80's and the people who were writing that garbage. These are the same guys who think you need 500g of protein a day, or that using a small amount of an oral steroid as a bridge isn't suppressive, or you need always to have Testosterone in your cycle as a base, or the quality of food doesn't matter, or that Tren and EQ are vet steroids. We know that none of that is true thanks to science and the facts we have learned over the years. This is why people who listen to this podcast are the smartest and most successful steroid users on the planet.
Our aims for the future and support
Mobster is a huge fan of the history of bodybuilding. His bodybuilder book collection goes back over 100 years, as he is a collector, he has hundreds of books and he has even met many of his writers. He says social media has changed things where it is better to get clicks rather than give out proper information vs. books on bodybuilding which were intended to educate.
He wants the podcast to follow that trajectory of educating and spreading knowledge. Steve agrees and says our podcast will never be about getting clicks through buffoonery nonsense, it will always be about helping everyone listening to be the best they can be.
