Dr. Tony Huge, real name Anthony Hughes, is a former bankruptcy attorney who turned supplement company spokesman and wannabe social media icon, after his failed law career. In no way is he an actual medical doctor, so don't let the Dr. in front of his name fool you.
He has been hit with federal lawsuits for his shady business practices in the past, ordered to come back to the USA for a deposition, and has been outcast from the bodybuilding industry for allegedly ratting out others. Recently, he made news once again, this time for getting a heart attack due to his reckless lifestyle choices.
Stats and tidbits
Huge was born in 1982 in Sacramento, California, and started modeling as a teenager in magazines and doing videos. The first time he was on television was on a show in India called "Porus", he also was in a movie called "Enhanced" in 2019. Since then he has been on podcasts and claims to be someone fighting for what he calls 'medical freedom'. In other words, he would like to be legally able to spike products and get away with it.
His listed stats at his peak were 5'10'' and 240 pounds. He did sport a very good physique for someone who is a former attorney.
He has spent a lot of the time the past few years overseas in South Asia partying, bar hopping, and hiding out from the American authorities.
Legal problems, selling fake products
In the spring of 2018, a judge ordered Huge to come back to the United States for a deposition. A deposition means they must give a sworn statement. The crux of this investigation starts with Enhanced Athlete misbranding drugs that were being sold to customers over the counter. One of the examples was their marketing and sales of DNP (2,4-Dinitrophenol), which is a dangerous fat burner that can burn someone from the inside out and has killed many young people over the years. This led to Enhanced being raided in December of 2017.
We also know that his company sold fake SARM's to people which were spiked with prohormones and who knows what. There have been thousands of complaints on forums for years about weird side effects from people using them.
Ok I have had ENOUGH of "DR" Tony Huge. I'm going to rant this out.

These types of side effects can have permanent effects on a person's health and cost them tens of thousands in medical bills. Mislabelling products like this is wrong and extremely unethical. It also is illegal, however Tony Huge thinks it is okay to poison people because that is ‘freedom’ in his words.
The next issue is Huge claimed to just be a spokesperson for the company, but evidence showed that he had directly profited from the company and was a principal director. His business partner Scott Cavell took the brunt of the punishment being sentenced to 3 years in prison. Huge's experience as a lawyer helped him skirt the law once again, as he likely ratted everyone out, and knew how to set up the company so others would take the fall while he got away scot-free.
Huge did a podcast in the late summer of 2021 with Chris Bell, talking about how he was back in the USA and admitting his addictions to opioids and other recreational drugs. Bragging about his party lifestyle and having fun with many women in different bars.

He also says in the video he has always had elevated liver, bad cholesterol, and when he had COVID it made everything worse. He admits he has been experimenting on himself for a decade and being his own guinea pig when it comes to chemical enhancement. He warned that with all the blood clots he has all over his body one could dislodge at any time and give him a heart attack.
His prophecy came true in early January of 2022 when he thinks he had a heart attack.
A few months prior he had a severe bout of COVID-19 which exposed a lot of the poor lifestyle decisions he had previously made. Recently, complained of pain and pressure in his chest, which are possible symptoms of a heart attack.
Once he had testing done on his heart it was revealed he had very high inflammation levels and he correctly admits that his abuse of chemicals and anabolic steroids over the years had “burdened my heart”. But he also says that having COVID-19, which he refers to as 'the flu', also made the situation worse because it damages the lungs and the heart causing a domino effect.
Tests showed his D-Dimer score to be 2500+ when it should be less than 500. His CPK and CK-MB levels were way higher than the normal range. His doctor recommended surgery because his mitral valve prolapse needed to be repaired. The mitral valve needs to close properly so that you have proper blood flow in and out of the heart. Also, the number of blood clots in his body was higher than someone who dies from COVID-19.
He also says that he did not do much cardio over the past decade, maybe he would do it once or twice a month at most. This all led to a fragile heart.
Huge is not someone to listen to.
At best, he will sell you spiked supplements that can lead to severe permanent issues like gynecomastia, acne, and suppression.
At worst, you can end up dead or with permanent heart, lung, and kidney damage by listening to his advice on anything related to bodybuilding.
He loves to rant online about how he is for what he calls 'medical freedom' but all the while he is spreading misinformation on purpose just to trick people into buying his fraudulent products. He also fled the USA due to his legal woes and not because he wanted to live abroad as he claims. Huge will likely either be dead very soon or end up in prison from another one of his schemes. Huge is a perfect example of American grifting and crony capitalism, which gives all of us a bad name, and not of a hard-working honest American that most are. He is also an example of why bodybuilding and supplement companies get bad raps all the time due to him making all of us look bad.
Huge abused his body to the max to cover up his average genetics as much as he could. Still, he was running as much PED’s at pros at the top level, as he brags about many times, and still could not win a local regional show. Here is a typical blast he would do for 6 straight months:

Social media posts
Still, with all the bad advice he has given, law-breaking, skirting laws, cheating, lying, stealing, etc. he still has fanboys who will defend him. Here are some quotes we found:
"Dr. Tony Huge is a legend. He makes Enhanced a good company"
"This is nanny state stuff, the pharma companies are just mad they are being beat by Tony"
"He is open and upfront"
Others have realized they were duped by his bravado and have come to their senses:
"Tony is just making it worse for himself"
"You are kidding yourself if you think he is a legend"
“This guy is a lying fraud who lives a fake lifestyle, just look at who he surrounds himself with”
Here is a thread on evolutionary.org the top bodybuilding and steroid site in the world. The vets who have been in the industry many decades do not like him very much
