Steve starts by giving his opinion on this logic. He discusses how steroids shouldn't become a crutch like this and that diet and training should come first.
Mobster says that he would change the quote and remove the word 'steroids' because it is BS, because you can't just take steroids and change your physique, it takes doing all of the above. So he doesn't find this guy's opinion accurate.

Steve goes over some amazing European studies that took a look at the idea that genetics plays a role in whether you are predisposed to being overweight or skinny for life. He says that these studies tracked twins with 'fat genes' vs. twins with 'skinny genes' and they did find out that no matter where the twins went they would still end up more predisposed to their genetics, but if a fat gene twin went to a fat family they would get fatter due to lifestyle and vice versa.
Mobster talks about the Great Depression of the 30's and how people were starving and you didn't see obese people walking around anywhere unless they were wealthy.
Steve finishes this topic by explaining that if you have been fat for a long time, it will be harder to lose that fat due to body memory which is very real. If you were a skinny person growing up and then got obese, it would be easy to lose that excess fat as your body has that body memory.

"Even though I lifted weights a few times a week I was eating bad pretty much over 5000 calories a day and whatever I felt like eating. I would down a whole pizza no problem and my favorite was extra cheese"
Mobster says this reminds him of IIFYM (if it fits your macros). He says no human being needs to eat that many calories, and you cannot eat whatever you want like that.
Steve talks about the damage you are doing to your body when you eat whatever you want. He says in America, you can pick up your iPhone and use an app to order whatever you want, whenever you want. The problem is you are clogging up your arteries and screwing up your organ health. You also are not doing your brain health any favors either.
Mobster talks about how grocery stores and food companies market their products to entice people to buy them. He blames parents for not teaching their kids to eat right from a young age and who think that loving them means letting them build poor food habits.
"Got my blood work done and I had low testosterone at 25 years old. Decided enough was enough and started to self-prescribe myself TRT at 250 mg a week. I then set a goal to bulk up more so I went from 260 lbs up to 280 lbs"
Mobster says when you are obese it causes a rise in estrogen and lower Testosterone levels, so it makes sense he would be 25 years old with bad levels. He also says that 250mgs of TRT a week is too high, that would put your levels way too high.
Steve agrees that the TRT dosing should be 100mgs give or take a week. 250mgs a week is way too high and will cause more damage. Also bulking up 20 pounds that much is not healthy in a short time frame, especially at that body fat level.
"Unfortunately it was about 6 weeks into a blast where I was doing tren + lots of testosterone that I blew out my pec and herniated a disc in my back. Had to have surgery."
Steve says he has seen this a million times from people who hop on gear when they don't have the proper conditioning, and end up with major injuries as their bodies cannot handle the extra load. He compares it to the NFL WR who catches the ball and gets hit up high and low at the legs and his knee twists where he blows out his ACL and is out for the year. When you push things so far, your body will punish you.
This issue can be prevented by not overdoing it with your steroid use and pacing yourself smartly and more efficiently.
"After that got smarter with using steroids and ran them 1g per week max. Using mostly low-dose tren, moderate masteron, and some testosterone. Getting more in shape and getting stronger on a week-to-week basis."
This type of cycle is still abuse, and it is far from a mild stack. The guys explain the reasoning for this, and why it would be better for him to use something else and slow down. Steve says you don't need to run much Tren to get a lot out of it, and thinks this person is likely using underdosed gear and should try Euro Pharma next time.
"Anyway long story short I don’t think you should wait to use steroids to lose weight. I started them when I had no business using them and they’ve changed my life. I look forward to going to the gym. So I don’t agree with those of you who say you shouldn’t use steroids until you’re truly ready, why shouldn’t a person?"
Mobster gives his thoughts on this one and rants on how broken this logic is. Bodybuilding and steroid use is a marathon and not a sprint. Both the guys say it makes more sense to build up your conditioning and dial in your training/diet first before you start doing more crazy things.

Euro Pharma steroid options
When you are overweight the main issue is the estrogen risk. So limiting more estrogenic steroids is a smart choice. Keeping Testosterone levels lower makes sense and using more DHT's can make sense. The guys give their thoughts on good Euro Pharma (EP) options if you are overweight.
EP Anavar: Anavar is good for fat loss and hardening, even while you are overweight. It also helps with strength. A dose for males is 20-50 mg a day.
