Thats a good amount to start with. But if you start small and only brew for personal use I'd say you dont need that much :)

Thank you for answering my questions. Allright then. Maybe its time to do bigger batches. :) I did not use a caulk gun. Just hands on syringe and steady preasure for an hour. Hard as hell but came out nice slow dripping into my jug. Good to know its normal on a .22 then.... Happy brewing to all ;)

I wanted to do 20ml at 250mg. Brewed away and filled a 20 syringe with my newly made Deca. Syringe filter on (.20) and needle in jug for pressure release as one should do. Started filtering without problem. At about 10 ml the pressure I needed on syringe got heavier. So I used my muscles :) and...

Yeah was planning to do but filter got loose and I squirted away the rest. Newbie mistake. Syringe filter and not holding all in place properly :) Wont do that again.
