I am running the following:

Hella
Kat
Gear
Need2Slin
HcGen
Lipoflame
Formastanazol

I have a chronic lower back issue. Finally went to doc and had films taken. "Trauma related abnormality" in surrounding L6 vertabrae/Sacrum. Who the F knows what that means. They ordered an MRI for more specifics.

Anyways.....the doc wrote me a script for Prednizone fo the pain.

Anyone have any experience with this?? Anyone experience any nasty sides?? Bloating? Water retention?

And anybody forsee any issue with it reacting dangerously with anything in my above cycle???

Thanks!

I dont think it will effect ur cycle, but I dont think it is the right medication for your injury. An regular non steroidal non narcotic anti inflammatory like flexeril or day pro will help with the pain and not have all the ****ty sides.

im anti prednizone my cousin who was a collegiate pitcher blew out his ucl partially because the pred weakened his tendons....i however am pro medrol tho

Prednisone for pain???

I take long term prednisone for a chronic condition and that stuff is NASTY. They have 10 day prednisone packs... you shouldn't see any sides on that although some people feel "euphoric" on it... if you're taking 40mg or more a day for months on end you may experience water retention, increase appetite (and therefor weight gain) and possibly a moon face.

Now flexeril.... that stuff is the shiznit. But I can't function on it... just sleep like a baby. :)

You'll definitely bloat up. I've never heard anyone use the term L6 before since normally there are only 5 lumbar vertebrae. L5-Sacral disc is a rough problem that seems to reoccur once injured. I hope the prednisone helps you out and avoid surgery at all costs. Learn and use good lifting techniques throughout your life.

Yes the flexeril is definitely a night time drug, but it works well with sleepiness being the only side effect I get. I like that it makes me sleepy especially when Im in a lot of pain. Daypro you can take during the day, with no drowsiness.

I only take flexeril when I throw my neck or back out, usually with darvocets.... every 4 hours-8hrs for about 2 straight days. The sleep is a bonus. If I keep myself sedated I can usually recover twice as quick. If I am REALLY bad I will take flexeril with valium. A low dose valium is the most FANTASTIC muscle relaxant. You only need 1-10mg tab to last a good 8-10 hours of no pain.

I have to agree with the valium. Nothing works better to loosen a tight muscle that pulling your hip up and out of alignment. It works through a different mechanism than flexeril and other muscle relaxers. It's a GABA inhibitor and all I can say is it's magic. It takes 10 mg's to work really well but 30 minutes after taking it I can move like normal again pain free.

I hope if you take prednisone it's only for 5-10 days.... You won't like any of the sides after that. I took it for 5 days, got the euphoria and my face swelled up. I stopped taking it and two days later everything was back to normal. NEVER AGAIN

plus doesn't prednisone promote catabolism?

The euphoric feeling is great until you realize you haven't slept for 48 hours. I hate the stuff except for the first day. I gives you tons of energy and your mind works like a computer until lack of sleep hits you. It's rarely used for back problems but it's worth a try when conventional meds don't work. Vicodene from N2 could be an alternative. Predisone's most common use is for inflammation in the lungs for people with pulmonary disease. It prevents further release of mucous and helps clear up pneumonia for patients with emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and asthma patients. Be certain to taper off the prednisone as prescribed or it can lead to a lot of mental confusion. I hate prednisone and have refused to take it the last two times it was prescribed to me. I've not used Vicodene from the Need2 store but this might be the perfect time to give it a try and post up a review.
