Ok Text or Talk?

Which do you guys prefer. I am a big texter but i really prefer to talk when its someone special. What do you guys think?
 
I have learned the women who are interested in you get pissed when you only text and never call. I was also told that it's obvious. Maybe that's why I'm single.
 
Talking. Text is too easy to screw up. Some people thing its cool for business decisions to be made on Yahoo Instant Messenger in text. Cool huh?

I like that Nate and I Skype alot. And if its something that needs conversation we just talk on there. I like it for conferencing with clients as well.
 
friends text or call.. its half way. if I dont feel like talking, im tired whatever, I'll throw a text out there. If im up, i'll give a ring.
 
Generally I text. Hell, it's my main form of communicating with my wife most days. It allows me to keep in contact while I'm working and she's at home or out with the kids. I love that she can send me pics of them doing stuff that I miss. It does not however replace a serious conversation. That should never happen via text or email. We've all seen how things typed can be taken the wrong way on message boards.
 
Texting / BB Messenger for me.
I find it more convenient then calling unless its something important.
Me and my girl just talk on BB messenger all the time, it's just like one long conversation. I'd go crazy if she called me all the time for little things, and she'd probably go crazy if I did the same.

That being said: In person talking is my fav. I just find talking over the phone awkward and try to limit the conversations.

I prefer to text if its just something small, but if having an actual conversation (or something a little more serious then a sentence here or there) then I prefer the phone.
 
talking but texting ok when it needs to be used like work. but when it comes to my kids forget it they go way to fast for me lol
 
WOW!! guess my age showing here. Talk! hate texting and hate having the person that Im in conversation with texting, way rude in my book. Peeps just seem to have lost decent manners in order to be connected. And the thing is that usually its just idle chatter. I guess that its not that important to me to be connected. I also like email and use it frequently, in business and pleasure. But could really do without texting.

Zed I agree with alot of what you said here bro. Just the woprld we live in which is why i started this thread. To see what everybody else thought.
 
If its something thats just a reminder sure text me. If its important gotta talk. There are little things in a voice such as inflection pitch etc that teell you so much. You can really understand better plus you can usually tell a liar.
 
But I do hate when people send me forwards via text... like jokes and whatnot... don't waste my time.
 
Once some random kid sent our business phone a message like that. I called his phone and gave him two new a**holes. And when I first got my phone I had someone else's number and some girl just messaged me ALL DAY LONG... kept asking me where her cousin was.... she wouldn't believe that this was my number... finally I had enough and just laid it into her. Then I called her phone and laid it in some more... I was merciless.... I told her to quit texting and get an education because her white trash ebonics was just absolutely pathetic and she should be so ashamed as to be so illiterate. She stopped.

Haha, but yea.. Some girl was texting me once thinking it was her boyfriends number or something.. I think I broke up that relationship. She was devestated.
 
That would have been LOTS of fun. Stupid people deserve these actions. Survival of the fittest.... they're just too stupid... gotta go.

if im at work or busy/tired il txt but if im free/awake il call. and depends on who it is.

but whats dumb is when you call someone and they txt you back asking "did you call me" and your like "yea, call me back" but they just keep txting. wtf?

Could be in a theatre or meeting, or somewhere else where you can't really talk on a phone at the moment but are able to quietly text. :)
That's when I do it anyways.

Yeah but AT those times I usually text back to a missed call saying, just that... like "hey saw you called, I'm at the movies/work etc and can't talk"
 
I always just leave my phone in the car, they miss me they miss me :)
 
correct is easy as above poster said with a blackberry. Plus blackberries are almost indestructable. Mine lasted 2 + years and it must have taken over 100 falls.

Id say so you can also usually buy just the click wheel or trackball. Mine was 8 bucks and came with the tools to replace.

yeah you can pop it out and get a ton of the debris out from under it, that usually helps.
 
I went through like 5 BB's in like a month just recently. These new ones are bullshit, lol.

First I went through a couple of those new blackberry flips. All garbage.
Then I got a Bold to replace it.. I dropped it from a short distance, WHILE IT WAS IN THE HOLSTER CASE, and it complely f'd up the screen, now I have another bold.

i've got the 8830 but its taken a beating as well!
 
i got the one i got because it was red lol! and pink wasn't an option! ;)
 
The Doc cannot stand a blackberry. Hes emotionally scarred from his last experience.LMAO
 
I've been forcefully resisting the crackberry temptation. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Droid. :D

Texter.

It is a whole lot easier for me to talk through writing or text than talking on the phone. Always so much background noise from my kids and such, plus I hate having a phone stuck to my ear.
 
Texting is taking the lead!!!!!LOL

Nope and I make up my own txt spelling...lol
I have friends who use the different words like "i no" for "I Know"

Never use punctuation and my bb mess is only for Certain people....LMAO!
