Higher Caloric Intake on Cycle vs PCT?

Looking to do my first cycle and in my research I haven't seen anything on a change in calorie intake during cycle as compared to pct. Should I be cutting back on calories after my cycle and during pct? I want lean muscle gains but don't want any added fat.

Stats:

42 yrs old
6'2"
200 lbs
14% bf
Very healthy

Pct is not the time to cut calories imo. I struggle with pct as it is , calorie deficit would only make it worse. And by struggle i mean no motivation , low energy. Those types of things. While on cycle if its bulking cycle i go over calories by 1000 or more / day

So....I take it you want lean muscle gains and no fat added...WHILE ON CYCLE...right? Or were you talking while on PCT? While on PCT get ready for fat and estrogen rebound which as well as a decrease in anabolic/androgenic activity. While on PCT, it is going to be much harder to keep unwanted fat off as well make increased muscle gains. At least untill your normal Test levels get back on track. As far as calories go....well...it depends what your goals are. With what I just said above, if you want to try and maintain as much muscle as possible you are going to want to keep your calories at least at maintainance. IMO....much more calories than that too early is asking for some unwanted weight. If your primary concern is to stay lean, I would really keep an eye on your calorie intake. This is where I believe certain SARMS could really help.

Hmmm. . . I own a business, would be tough to be low energy, low motivation for a month or so. If I have to sacrifice some fat gain to stay "up", may have to do it.

Yep, that's the goal. I hadn't heard about being so low energy while on PCT. How low-energy? I would sacrifice some fat gain to keep as much as the muscle gain as possible. then I suppose go to a cutting cycle later on if needed?

For me, I have ZERO MOTIVATION. That equates to no energy, drive, desire. When I am ON cycle I cant wait to go workout. It seems everyday I am moving up the ladder. WHen coming off thou, its the opposite. I really struggle with trying to stay motivated. I agree with your thought process. Fight to keep that muscle you worked so hard to gain on cycle. Change things up to make it interesting. Once you get through PCT and take time off, you will hopefully be that much further ahead. Most of it is in the mind.

It depends, i SOMETIMES cut calls the last 4 weeks and carry it through pct to cut fat. It works for me, by I know my body and i know what I can and can not due..

I'll just plan on it. Habit, habit! Tough for me not to go to the gym. A couple of days off and I know I'm missing something.
