Ive been back training 2 1/2 years. Took myself out in late 2004 rupturing some disks lifting. I was out for 2 years. Ignoring pain, 730 lb deadlifts with bar behind the legs, maxing 3 times a week, 7 hour chest sessions and 8 hour back sessions, just about every set to failure. Consistantly for years. I train with the same brutality still, however am more tactical in training around my strains and injuries this time around.

10-29-09 Thursday Chest (15 mins cardio)

Back to my original KILLING grounds since my return, Bally's gym. 24 hour fitness just dont cut it for my chest and back training. Was a good workout overall.

Main difference being that my shoulders were not strained hardly at all this time. Training chest once a week seems like its gonna work out much better.
I will really fucking KILL that chest session since it is only once, and will do inclines on smith after the flat portion, or even switch to inclines instead of flats. Cycle the two.

275 has become the fucking bastard child of my chest routines. Those who know my routine, know that I hit reps to failure with , 225,275,315 and up. I think for a while Im going to just go straight to 300 for my next set after 225, maybe even 315, will see, then ill go up and work my reps with the heavier weights. I think ive been expending too much energy in the sub 300's, fucking around, having my fun. Its time for some changes. I prefer heavier poundages over low weight for high reps.

Hit one PR with 300x15 1/2 but only cuz of the specific number. 315x14 is my best. Good day overall and didnt hit anything extra cuz I didnt fucking feel like it.

I can kill the shoulders and rear delts on sunday. Some days I may add to the chest session, but I like the idea of a day dedicated to killing chest, rather then twice a week.

Ultimately Ill train by feel though:

(200 lbs before meals)

Flat Bench Press: (3/4 reps until end, then locked)

135x20 (warm)
225x40
300x15 1/2 (PR, but only cuz of the number. 315x14 is best)
335x4 1/2 (Spotter really fucked me up. Yelling and arms in the way. I drop the weight fast, so completely fucked my rhythym)
375x 2 half reps (Waited too long to find a spot)
315x7 (Spotter distracted me and shit went out of the groove)
315x9

Nice bro, as i cant swear because of my beliefs, im goona kick the butt out of my workout today. its chest day for me, hoping to bp about 160kg if i can , i havent tried it for a month or so, now im 9 lbs lighter it might be harder. But im going in to achieve, youve got me focused.

Thats some nice weight. I dont train without stimulants anymore. The pre workout cocktail I take isnt sold in stores but consists of, 250mg caffiene, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams beta alanine and No 2 in there too. Anabolic Super Fuel.
On chest day Ill usually follow that with a redline. Off the stims, and out of the gym I am a fucking zombie, often go into coma between meals. Its the price to pay though and definately worth it for the intensity and adrenaline boost.

I cant train without now though. haha. It would be tough as hell for me.

Yeah i know what you mean, ive tried to avoid the stims for that reason, i love the caffeine though... 2 expressos for me before training. Get some of the forged burner from nathan, man thats intense stuff.

Nice. What does the fitness competitions entail? Alot of endurance and acrobatics?

Ive always just been in it to become a mutant, freak. Rip out of my own skin. Major rage issues, so my only competition has been with myself.

Definately takes longer to fill out with more height.

Future's right. Slow and consistant is the way to do shit. Hard,brutal but consistant with the training and force feeding. If looking to gain mass.

I will definately check that log. My views on training are extreme, but I can definately contribute alot of KILL THAT SHITs in there. I dont tell anyone how to train, but if asked Ill gladly give my perspective on things.

You shouldnt be so hard on yourself about genetics. Ive been at it 13 years worth of straight training (started 15 years ago,but 2 year lay off) and training has been consistant and brutal. It takes a real long time and is very gradual.

When I started at 14 I was 105-115lbs of bone. Couldnt bench the bar without assistance. Fiercely dedicated I spent my days at the gym. Didnt stop training for many hours. Very slow process. I didnt start eating enough for real growth until I was 18 and started keeping a journal of all meals and routines. Ive always been extremely slow to grow, not meant to be large at all, and tiny frame. Probably why I appear much heavier then I am. Light bones. So dont let genetics be a deterrent or an excuse. If you want that shit bad enough you will MAKE that shit happen regardless. There are always gonna be many obstacles, injuries and issues in life, KILL ALL THAT SHIT!!

Defintely continue to start with a warm up set on the bench, but if your burnin youself out before you can try any heavier you need to do less reps and add the weights up quicker.

Yea Ive been thinking about some modifications. The 225 and 275 sets have gotten rediculous with the reps and want to focus more on the heavier weights for reps (315,335,365). Those sets expend alot of energy before the heavy shit

11-02-09 Back

As always, the bicep tendons are the weak link in back training. Especially with these types of weights. My right bicep tendon popped, and a feeling of seperation after the 18th set with 400 lb lat pulldowns. Ive done this before, and nothing turned purple, will have my two days rest and should be ready to KILL again thursday. Right now it just feels a little tight but very little pain.:

(201 lbs before meals, different gym, different scale)

Tendon popped, seperating feeling in right bicep, during 400lb set. So stopped and left. Has happened before and afterwards some tightness and only slight pain, so should be fine by thursday pressing session. May go slightly lighter on back for a little while with slower reps to avoid TEARING THAT SHIT off the bone

Definitely make sure you do lower wait until it feels 100%. You dont want a 1 week injury to turn into a 6 month injury. Hope it heals up good Br...I mean Beast

Right now my right bicep strain is more an issue. It should be good enough by thursday though

WOW, hopefully the bicep heals quickly as well. For me since I train hard as well, I notice that massages, warm baths with epsom salt, and stretching seems to to do the job.
 
I try to stretch by hanging pretty often when in the gym. Scorching hot showers seem to help for my back. Massage I havent tried
 
Hot showers open up the pores which tend to alleviate the toxic build up in the nerves of the muscles.
 
Nice. I did that for a while with my ruptured disks to ignore the pain. Before I took myself out for 2 years.

Yeah its good stuff, I like using those electrical wires, they reall make things easy for me.
 
Whenever Im fixin to get a good buzz i get me one of those electrical wires , insert em in the nostrils and down the throat. Gets me all tingly

Only taking pre-workout stimulant,creatine,no2,beta alanine and BCAA cocktail before training. Novadex XT and plasma jet I just started. No AAS or prohormones recently though. I did the super drol some weeks ago, but only for 2 weeks. Alot of sides. I only gained back some of what I lost from stress and not eating.

Ive only done a few bottles of novedex as PCT. I did the super drol for only two weeks but figured Id still run the shit. Not sure if it does anything even for PCT

Well I definitely gained some strength, its best used with testofen or divanil, it gave me the sweats, I also got more cut on it. It probably will not give much size, but regardless I like it. I took 2-4(depending on the day) prior to bed WITHOUT loss of libido.

Have any neoprene sleeves to add to your arms to keep them warm?

That is one injury I havent had...yet. Maybe try using a neutral grip and see if that can help? No guarantee.

If it is chronic though HEAT THAT SHIT. LOL 2-3 times a day if you can. Maybe look into doing some light massage on it. Soaking in epsom salt will help too.

Been a while since I took any update pics. Months. My strength has been increasing rapidly though on back traiining, pressing, everything. However bodyweight is not at the highest. Only 199-201 at 5'8. So I assumed I was shrinking. Noticed however my back looking much thicker , more detailed lately. Wider. So measured chest again and up to 50 1/2 inches. 1/2 an inch from my last progress picts, so somehow added size at the same bodyweight.

Fuckin tryin to mutate!! If eating wasnt such a fucking weakness for me, id be alot thicker, so its a slow process. Thus the reason my strength is getting pretty high for being so light. The mental fuckin insanity is the main reason though, I wont lie. Im fucked in the head. At 140 I was racking machines for high reps in the early days.

Nothing like that adrenaline high. Thats the main reason I lift. For the vent. For that high. I remember when I was injured, and much smaller. I was much more dangerous. Going on fucking rage sprees daily, just to feel the adrenaline again. I could never adjust to anything outside of that. Cant turn the shit off now. No turning back

That is the difficulty with bbing, sometimes you can not train TOO hard cuz it will diminish size gain, my biggest dilemna.

The only time I believe in NOT training too hard is to avoid injury. Aside from that I will always try to push myself to the end limits each session. Though Ill back off alot easier if I feel certain pain, then I would in the past. Still drive through various strains to some degree, but will feel it out.
 
11-06-09 Chest

Bad training and eating day due to packing a house and taking care of some other shit. Too many interruptions and taking too long to find spotters.

Preworkout stimulant cocktail was also wasted due to the interrupution. So followed with a redline when I got back, but light headed from not eating all day:

(198 lbs before meals)

Fortunately no issue today at all. Except that I think it may have lead to shoulder inflammation somewhat, the bicep tendon pull. Could be coincidence. Overall it feels fine. I think Ill be fine to hit back hard monday, but will be a little less wreckless with back this week hopefully. The shoulder is already the inflamed one, so i dont really know if its related.

I train through that all the time. The main problem was all these things I had to do was KILLING my momentum. Tommorrow have to move a house out, so likely no training, unless I do it in the AMs at the 24 hour. Will see, but unlikely, since I may be busy sunday as well. Not sure. Monday I should be back to my routine. It doesnt hurt for me to get a few days rest this week anyway due to that tendon strain. Hopefully eat enough to atleast maintain most of my weight. Thats my main issue this weekend. I dont eat when I got shit to do.

The only time I believe in NOT training too hard is to avoid injury. Aside from that I will always try to push myself to the end limits each session. Though Ill back off alot easier if I feel certain pain, then I would in the past. Still drive through various strains to some degree, but will feel it out.

Indeed, I am the same way, even when I am injured I push my limits, we beast KILL THAT SHIT!

Difference is , being more tactical and cautious (somewhat) is givng me longetivity in the gym. I finished myself off 5 years ago, taking myself out for 2 years, with the ruptured disks. So Im not looking to repeat that right now. Its very fucking mentally draining. To feel like shit, to rebuild through all the pain and worst of all to feel FUCKING human again. It was an identity crisis, the monster I spent most of my life to build was gone, its all I know. Ontop of that no vent for my adrenaline addiction. So like I said, I fed off rage and was more violent then ever. Shit happens

When my sciatica kicks in this is how I feel bro, training with much more CONTROLLED intensity as compared to my ridiculous tempo. It sucks cuz when you get that rush and lack of pain feeling from lifting hard to the feeling of oh I feel that, it really bumms you out.

I know that feeling. Even when I pull muscles Ill usually continue training. Ill often pull out my neck during back training. Somehow training through it, itll lessen sometimes, and with some rest days be alright.

I used to frequently pull my lower back out with ultra heavy dumbbell rows. So then Id go and blast the FUCK out of upper back with mostly machine. Kill one bodypart completely then use the parts that still work. Luckily my lower back hasnt been pulling out. Havent been doing DB rows or BB rows, or anything where Im bending over with heavy weight.
