Thanks. Me too. Now I just can't wait for it to get here so I can see if its legit. Melting point test is the easiest option I suppose. Anyone ever use one of those steroid test kits? You can get a single use kit that tests specifically for pure test e powder for $19.50. Or do you think a melting point test is sufficient?

Test E is pretty simple, it should have a light pine smell, it does to me. And it's low melting point should allow you to rub some in your fingers and get it to start to melt.

Not real scientific but you are dealing with a new source that you are not familiar with.

Also you can brew some at a high mg ratio and watch it crash, but you will have to waste a few grams and Test E uses quite a bit compared to say Prop.

Let us know how it goes.
 
So after all of that I missed the delivery at 11:49 this morning. Now I have to go to the post office at 8:30 am tomorrow. Stupid EMS website not giving timely updates.

Are you talking about a labmax kit? It only tests for the substance, and is iffy at that. Sadly, there are no more American labs that test gear since we're a free country and all.:mad:
Hint: check around in Europe. Labs there can do this.

Yeah I was looking at the labmax kits online. I have a chemist friend and I thought about having her do me a solid but the less people that know the better.

This is way off topic but I have a couple hundred insulin syringes sealed in packages of 10. They are only 8mm 31g needles though. If anyone has any use for some I could ship them on out to you.
 
I might. Can oil get through a 31g needle?
Haven't gotten a response on this question over on my intro post, but perhaps you guys can tell me if there is any good reason NOT to do subQ injections if my volumes are in the 0.1 - 0.2 cc range.
 
Regarding powder purity; the tests you're mentioning are for testing if the product has the ingredients you want. Do any of you test for toxic impurities? It coming from God knows what kind of lab in China.
How about a re-crystallization to purify the product? I don't know exactly what chemicals you would use but the process generally involves dissolving in one solvent and then either washing with another solvent that is immiscible with the first but not the target compound, then precipitating from the second solvent, or dissolving in solvent then adding another compound to the solution to change solubility constants and cause a precipitation of the target compound.
Anybody try that or something like it?

My niece is a diabetic. They have been sending needles for years just in case her pump fails. There were thousands at my sisters house when I went to help her move. She was going to throw them out so I snatched some up. I didn't bother to look at the needle size until today.

Received it this morning. It was in the foil package labeled TE 50g wrapped in bubble wrap and in a black plastic package. I don't think I will be using this source again ever. I also had to sign way too much crap to have the package handed over at the post office. Its got that light pine kind of smell and it melted when I rubbed it between my fingers. Pretty sure its legit. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go throw up now lol

Alright bros. I have everything that I need to get this brew started except for my oil. Where do you guys do your shopping for it? Can I just hit the local grocery store and pick up some GSO or safflower oil? I know that GSO is the most popular but Strango uses safflower oil in his brews so I thought about going that route.

That place is a homebrewers haven. I personally spend the extra cash for filtered GSO. It's alot easier on your filters and just gives me more peace of mind. Might want to grab a little bit of EO as well if you're brewing short esters. I like doing a 50/50 or 25% EO. If you go really high, like a 200mg/ml test P or NPP, full EO.
 
Here's what I'm using for the tne does anyone have any info on brewing tren no ester?

20 ml TNE @ 50 mg/ml

1 gram Test Base powder
2 ml benzyl benzoate ( 10%)
0.2 ml benzyl alcohol (1%)
0.6 ml polysorbate80 (3%)
14.8 ml destilled water


Heat the powder -PEG-ba-ps80 until it melts and forms a clear substance ..then filter it as warm as possible I do it on 45 degrees C into a clean vial with distilled water where it wil titrate (return from its fluid form into the solid form).

Some prefer to add the benzyl alcohol to the water.

There is a chance that the hot test-peg- ps80 clumps in the filter thats why some people filter through a 45 micron filter instead of 22 micron filter. You're solution 'has a much bigger chance to be dangerous, that why you should keep your homebrew as cold as possible and manufactur - keep and use it as sterile as possible

^^ right .9% ba to 99.1% distilled water if my memory serves me right but you are using ba anyway so why not just use distilled water?

Well I'm doing my brew now brothers. I bought some 100% pure safflower oil from Walmart and did a dry heat sterilization on it (2 hrs in the oven in a sanitized Erlenmeyer flask at 320 degrees). 2 hrs into the filtering and bottling process and I've only finished 100ml. The gear looks great though. I'm pretty stoked for my first brew :-)

I was like a kid on Christmas with my 1st one. Good luck and try to keep a log or notes as you go, it will help.

Even the USP oils are all USP until they open the large drums or whatever and they fill the smaller containers that we buy now with that being said I'm sure the oil that you buy from the store has a lot more crap that you need to filter out but once it's filtered it should be gtg

Here's post 267 from me. I can imagine tren would be substituted for the tne:

Gonna be compounding a tren suspension, and test suspension, both water based. I'm a fan of test suspension, and since I'll be going back to tren in short durations, can imagine what these will be like for pre work out, as well as contest prep. Here's the first recipe for tne suspension:


"Here is his first recipe that does include filter instructions. If you trust your powder and you have properly made sterile water usuing all sterile equipment then no need to fuck with filters.



Guys, I've been working my butt off to perfect this and I finally got it. Here is a formula for Test no ester (water based suspention) at 75mg/ml that will pass through a 30ga slin pin with no clogging. ENJOY!!!


TNE suspention 75mg/ml
Supplies needed
1.5 Grams TNE powder
2 .22um whatman filter
1 10ml vial
1 20ml vial
2 18ga pins with 3ml plungers
1 5 ml plunger
1 10ml plunger
2 ml Benzyl Benzoate (10%)
.4 ml Benzyl Alcohol (2%)
.6 ml Polysorbate 80 (3%)***Trust me on this***
15.875 ml Distilled water

1. Add your BB and PS80 to your beaker (10ml vial) with your TNE powder and heat until it is in liquid form.

2. reduce heat enough to keep it liquid (med low temp on a hot plate) ***note: you must keep it on heat so it does not crash while filtering into the distilled water***

3 Put .4 ml BA and 15.875 ml distilled water in your 20ml vile.

4. Most of you will prefer to filter the BB/PS80/TNE mix which it great, but I prefer just to use a glass dropper to slowly drop it into the water 1ml at a time (BECAUSE GLASS WILL NOT MELT IN YOUR HAND) However, if you want to filter the concentrate use a .45um whatman filter and only do 1 ml at a time.

5. slowly add your BB/PS80/TNE mixture to your water 1 ml at a time, and after every ml you add put the stopper on the vile and shake vigerously. REMEMBER ONE ML AT A TIME. **THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT**

by the time you're done it should be milky white and perfect, with this method it won't clump or seperate to the bottom like it did with PEG. The TNE will stay milky and completely seperated and will go through a 30ga by 1/2" slin pin like pure water with no clogging and no pain at all!"

Another copy and paste that does seem to make better sense (for me, anyway)

And note, this is for winny, but tne will be substituted, as well as a change to the recipe:


"How to make Winstrol Suspension @ 100mg/mL X 20mL in water.

-2 grams stanozolol powder X 0.75 displacement volume = 1.5mL
-24% BB = 4.8mL
-3% BA = 0.6mL
- 3% Polysorbate 80 = 0.6mL
-DISTILLED Water (ONLY use Distilled Water!) 12.5mL

Procedures:
-Combine stanozolol powder, BA, BB, PS80 and heat until clear while swirling.
-Filter slowly with a Sterile 0.22um Syringe Filter directly into a Sterile Vial.
- Filter the distilled water with a new Sterile 0.22um Syringe filter into the vial - Keep swirling the vial as you filter in the distilled water.
-Vigorously shake the Winstrol in the vial for a few minutes

Complete! You now have Winny @ 100mg/mL X 20mL.

NOTE: your final Winny solution will look foamy or airy. After you shake the hell out of it, let it sit untouched for 3 days. You will see it settle out with the water on top as usual. This will be very micronized and settling out will take days, so do not be concerned.
This will produce the standard PIP of Winstrol found in Underground Labs, it is not totally painfree - but not painful."

It definitely would have saved some time. I hadn't yet ordered my oil yet though and well I am an impatient bastard so I started researching lab sterilization procedures to see if I could get away with food grade oil. My gear came out crystal clear after filtering so I'm confident its sterile.

While crystal clear is nice, bacteria and viruses are microscopic.

Food grade should work fine

I've heard a lot of discussion about the next step up from filtering by hand/syringe being either a caulk gun or bottle top. Although I haven't brewed gear yet, ( waiting a couple of paychecks to put in a large order for powders) after my first go and I hate syringe filtering, where can I learn about these techniques?

Also, just purchased a capsule machine size 1. Can't wait to cap my "Bob special" + the Anavar.

I gave up half way through and went to Walmart for a Caulking gun. I put my oil in a 60cc syringe and just put it in the gun. Much easier than squeezing the damn syringes for sure. You can't fill it all the way up or it won't fit in the caulking gun.

Stack fender washers in front of the syringe so it will hold in the caulk gun and go to town

Ya I had something weird happen. I did 200 ml of 400mg cyp. And I filtered it all thru a .22 um syringe filter. And in every bottle except two there is stuff floating in it. Little specks. Never had that happen before. I was thinking about using an auto vial. Anyone ever try those?

Re-filter it.
 
I filtered 100ml Test E by hand and the other 100ml with a caulking gun. Neither method was that great so I'm looking for a good alternative. I didn't quite understand the break bleeder thing but I think I grasp the concept now.

The brake bleeder created vacuum. It pulls the liquid through the filter. Go watch the youtube clips I mentioned.
 
Idk. It was a syringe filter the what man ones on med lab they are like 25 cents. Never had a problem with them before tho with eo

Lol! You won't find that. You'll find some company reps showing how to filter using a dyed water (so it can be seen better.) Worth watching. Anything a person creates, then injects themselves with, calls for tons of research, as you know.
 
OK so watched the video now once you filter it into the big container how do you get it put of there and into the vial while keeping it sterile. I use sealed vials obviously.

just reach in there With a big syringe being extra steril.

If you use the glass media vails they make ruber tops.
 
So some free air getting in there won't hurt it? I usually never let air touch it once filtered so I'm concerned about that

This is where some need for a little reading comes in. I think everyone should be aware of what type of filter and which membrane type they are using, which is best suited for which type of filtering and so on. It really makes a difference and I dont think you were getting actual Whatman brand, it does make a difference. I have gotten the cheaper Scientific American or something like that brand .2 and .45 and I could not get the same ml through those before clogging or blowing them.

Whatmans PVDF will also have a GD-X glass prefilter which seems to help.

I am guessing your EO ate the filter. You might want to try switching filters quicker to avoid that, or see if it is the brand you are using.

Personally I like the bottle tops over anything else.

Something weird just happened. I got an email on my safemail from a maxsource offering raw powders. And so I asked how did u get my email. And he said he wasn't sure probly from an aas forum. Sounds very fishy. He also asked if I was a homebrew fan. Disturbing.
