I’m currently in a maintenance/recomp phase and I’ll be documenting everything I’m doing throughout the process below.
Background / Stats
19 years old, 6’1, working full-time in the mines.
I started lifting around a year ago at 100kg and was definitely carrying a lot of extra body fat. I started by running a cut which lasted around 6–7 months and brought me down to 80kg, which was my initial goal weight.
After that I honestly had very little guidance and jumped into a bulk when I probably wasn’t lean enough to. I pushed up to around 87kg before eventually hiring a coach. We pulled back a few kilos and for the last 1 month I’ve been running a recomp, currently sitting around 83kg.
Goals
My goal during this recomp is to stay around the same body fat percentage, potentially get a bit leaner, while adding as much muscle as possible.
Long term, I’d also like to compete in Junior Classic around 2027–2028.
Cycle / Stack
Before getting into this — I started gear around 14–16 weeks ago. I fully understand I’m young and understand the risks involved. Health markers and bloodwork are being monitored regularly by my coach and I’m doing everything possible to keep health a priority.
EOD Injection Frequency
The 1:1 Test to EQ ratio works well for me personally and estrogen hasn’t been an issue. Adjustments have been made based on bloodwork and overall I feel great.
EQ was added around week 8 as an alternative approach rather than introducing an AI. Blood pressure and health markers have been good so far.
Bloodwork has generally come back within range, with CRP being the only thing we’ve been trying to improve. Because of that I switched gear sources and introduced injectable glutathione.
