I have been living very comfortably in Bangkok for 7 years running these 2 online shops. One is about muay thai equipment, the other is about steroids.
Total net profit from both together is an average of 2500 USD/month, now mostly from the anabolic steroids shop. The lowest month has been 900 USD, the best months about 5000 USD. These are net profits. I never kept any accounting, so I cannot prove these figures. All orders are small, B2C, no wholesale, no taxes, no hassles. All under the radars.
You physically work 2-3 days/week, the rest is online work. You can live in Bangkok or Pattaya and every week dispatch your orders.
The muay thai business is 100% legit and simple: you get paid by customers, place your orders at the factories/shops, pay the suppliers when the orders are ready, package, go to the post office and ship.
The other biz requires expertise in packaging, or all your parcels will be seized and you won't have any customers. Moreover, you need to know where to buy the stuff, as not every pharmacy sells it. People usually buy small, to see how you operate, then start reselling to their friends. If you consistently manage to pass customs, you'll be flooded with orders, small and large. The best market is Australia, which is also the most difficult to pass. But with my training you'll be OK.

Why I sell: after 20 years, I'm leaving Thailand for good. There are better places nearby.
