New member
I put up a post on my 1st cycle thoughts yesterday but wanted some info on TRT.
Im more looking to get suggestions for a 43yr old.
I will say in hoping to get my bloods done this next week so maybe that will help on any advice I get.

Now my physician is a family dr who I became close to over the years due to my mom being diagnosed w cancer (shes currently doing well btw).

Anyhow would it be a great idea to make an appt w him and go over this w him on the TRT? Im good at playing stupid lol.

Its something I thought I would you guys thoughts on. I do believe TRT is HUGE where I live and thats just what ive been told.

Thanks.

JJ

If you don't need trt. Why not just go for it and do a normal cycle. Or is it ur after the trt script so its legal for u to have stuff on hand ? I didn't see ur cycle post that's why I ask.

Agreed, if you are on cycle I wouldn't give bloods. Now if you want to get on trt no matter what...that's simple. Go in about 16-18 days after last shot of Cyp or E and your levels should be below normal. Now you could T-prop up to 3-4 days before and keep bloods more consistent before going in.

Thanks for all the information I just wanted to get some feedback being that im 43. Once I get my blood work done then I will be able to share more info.

I'm 44 and have been on TRT through my GP for almost 9 months now. I historically had full blood panels taken every 6 momths since I was 40 just for health check-ups. Two years ago my T levels came in just under normal range and got progressively worse over time. We finally came to the decision that TRT was necessary and hence, I'm on it for life now.

Admittedly, my GP is constrained by the policies of the clinic I go to, and can only give my E2W injections. He also knows little about the potential need for an AI to control estrogen. I currently inject twice per week (Mon - Thurs) and augment my prescription with underground test on the "off" weeks. I have an appointment with an Endo that specializes in HRT in July to see if he can get me on a proper TRT protocol, as I would much rather have my insurance cover Pharm Grade Test then having to continually augment my stash through UGL.

Bottom line - If you need the treatment for valid medical reasons your doctor should be willing to get you on the program. It's a big decision to pin for life but the benefits I've experienced are FAR worth it.

With so many good sources around why not plan your TRT by yourself and leave the doc out of it? There are private labs you can get your bloods at too. Most docs (not all) are very uneducated on TRT, and they don't know how to run gear because they never ran it themselves. They don't prescribe AI's and they are not fully aware of the damage that can happen to your system. Why not ask experienced users that can tell you how to TRT dose? Pretty much TRT to me means cruising for life, which is what a lot of guys do anyway. I'm not old enough to consider TRT for the rest of my days but when I am I will just go with good sources, experienced users and handle all the hassle myself. It would be nice if insurance could pay for it but the hassle and misinformation the medical industry hands out is just not worth it. Just my opinion btw.

Agreed with my GP not understanding the proper protocol but I actually enjoy receiving Pharm Grade for a $5 copay once per month.

daum that is close to the cost of brewing lol.

No experience in that field of chemistry unfortunately...

I will be using privatelabs as I just need to dl the paperwork and make time next week. TRT is more of getting advice rather than straying away from my 1st cycle. Im actually looking forward to pinning for 1st time lol.

wow so u never pinned and r thinking of trt.....hmmmmmm interesting.

Nothing wrong asking for advice but remember there is certain stigmata that comes with mentioning steroids for some people in general (including medical doctors). Your doc might be a real stand up guy who wants to help but if he finds out that you are cycling most doctors (unless they cycle themselves) will look down on this. Which I find really funny because a lot of doctors only get 1-2 semesters of hormone therapy in med school. Not to mention at least 1-2 semesters on pharmacology in med school. Somehow those 2-4 semesters make them an expert even though they have never had one drop of test themselves. I just state this to keep in mind if there is resistance try not to get to upset about it and understand the perspective the doctor may be coming from. And yeah getting pharm grade test for $5 WOW that is awesome!

Dude Doc's in NO way get an entire semester of hormone therapy in school...maybe 2-3 HR's/semester, but there is ZERO chance they spend an entire semester studying the endocrine system in regards to HRT or TRT only pathologies.

Yes before mid and at end as for me I want to monitor everything.

Good, write everything down daily. How u feel, what u took (doses/pinned) and ate. Log it, b/c you need to to understand your body. The bloods is a simple snapshot but will help u understand why u are feeling "good" "Lethargic", etc...

Yes that's going to be my everyday log. Important not only for 1st cycle but others.

I never pinned until a few months after the doctor put me on TRT.
I made office visits and then started pinning myself for my blast cycle and now for convenience since he wrote my script for home administering. It's easy but I stick to the glutes. I pinned my quad and shoulder once and apparently didn't do it correctly because I had pain for a day or so afterwards, as well as during the pin on my quad.
