Sorry but they called out heath, kai, and Rohden only that means almost definitely that's u r top 3. I hare branches physique with a passion. Kai wasn't flat so much as smother than usual, think he tried to come in too big. Wouldn't be surprised if he falls to 3rd. Ramy is a freak of nature and will be the next mr. O.

Phil Heath seems like a better guy than Kai Greene. Interrupting Phil when he's talking about his dead father is just disrespectful as fuck. I don't know if it's all staged all this shit they talk, but if no then it's disrespectful as fuck.

Heath had Kai for sure imo, I like rohden personally and he deffinantly improved over last year but wolf and him were close imo. Kai just came in to heavy. Its nuts my wife and I were in the hospital (had our twins yesterday) watching the live feed lol. Nurses looking at us like were aliens hahahaha

Congrats bro!! And that's seriously badass that you 2 were watching like that. That's serious dedication! I thought I was lucky since my woman watched it in bed with me on our big screen (I had the TV plugged into the laptop so I could watch it on the TV while it streamed through the laptop).
I have to say that I was fairly pleased with the placings. I was VERY happy to see Shawn Rhoden take 3rd, and Big Ramy did pretty well -- his placing improved a lot. Roelly looked like shit tbh. He's fucking massive, but he just wasn't conditioned/crisp enough to compete with the competition.
Smalls had a really entertaining performance too lol. My woman said he was her favorite performance. He definitely entertains!
I really thought Kai was acting like a piece of shit this entire time. The way he was acting while Heath was talking during the conference, then during the competition he threw his hair on him, got in his face, etc. That behavior only reinforced my belief that Kai is NOT right for representing bodybuilding AT ALL. Phil was a complete class act while Kai was acting that way.
And Phil definitely looked better than Kai tbh. During prejudging, Kai looked way too smooth, but he definitely started losing water while posing and started looking far better. But even at the end, he just didn't seem to have enough to really beat Phil's physique. Though Kai absolutely had a better back. But Phil wasn't at his best either... I was a little surprised. I thought Phil would have come in better than previous times. I wonder if he's really going to put in the work for next year.
I have to say, when Ramy gets his conditioning down, no one will stand in his way. And as Rhoden improves, he'll be impressive as shit.

I was disappointed with this years Olympia. Not because of the result bit because of how badly conditioned most of the guys in The open class were. Roelly looked 12 weeks out. Wolf was flat. Even Phil had a bloated gut. Ramy was way off the mark. Dex rhoden and branch were the crispest of the lot. And I hate branch's look.
I also thought Jose Raymond did enough to beat flex in the 212 class and I'm a huge flex big hugger. Bring on the Arnold when we can see Evan and Cedric again

Am i the only one who still thinks that the judges should be judging the physiques and not the contenders character or how theyre portrayed in the public light?

Unfortunately, the Mr. O is a bit more political and complex when it comes down to everything. The Mr. O represents the ENTIRE sport and EVERYONE in it. Would you want someone who acts like Kai representing all of us? Arrogant, shoving people around and getting in their face when HE was the one causing the issue with Phil? Would you want the person to represent all of us being a dude that has a YT video of him fucking a grapefruit? A man that does g4p? The bodybuilding sport has already had enough issues gaining back the positive light with the public that it had before. Having a person like Kai represent the entire sport would put the sport in a worse place than if the sport didn't exist AT ALL. When you google Kai, some of the first things to pop up is g4p, the grapefruit, etc.
So while I feel its BODYBUILDING and should be judged on the physique, I also completely understand how the politics and everything goes.
Also, Phil beat Kai. So even if politics were set aside, Kai wouldn't have won. So either way, it is what it is. I don't think Wolfe was superior to Phil. Wolfe was far from the Mr.O! Shawn beat Wolfe (and absolutely deserved it) and even Shawn didn't look better than Kai or Phil. I also doubt the judges purposely kept Ramy away from Phil. They just had the individuals grouped next to the other they were comparing them to. Ramy was MASSIVE, but isn't even remotely close to being conditioned enough to taking the Mr.O. But when Ramy does get his conditioning down, he will be unbeatable without a doubt. That's like saying the judges kept Roelly away from Phil because it would have been comical. He's a fucking massive dude, but definitely not at that point.
I agree completely about the conditioning and what not of most the competitors being way off (a few exceptions obviously tho). I think Phil was a bit too preoccupied with everything else going on in his life to give the Mr.O the attention it deserved.
And while I agree that judging is absolutely rigged (look at all the times that Dorian should have been beat), I'm actually pretty happy with how the judging went and actually agreed with it for the most part.

They actually judged this mr. One pretty well. I knew Phil was going to win in like the first 10 seconds of the first call out. He's just better than everyone else by a whole lot. The only guy who could ever take him out is Ramy. Imo Jai didn't deserve second, he was soft, came in too big. I knew Road en would be third cause he was in the 1st call out with Kai and Phil but I had him second. Wolf could have been 2nd or 3rd also, very close between him and roden but I think they both beat Kai and Kai should have been 4th. I never liked Dexter Jacksons physique all that much. I actually knew Dexter and trained with him once in 97 when he was still a middleweight. He is a cool guy and he comes in shredded every contest, great symmetry and a esthetics but he's small compared to these other guys. I would have had him 6th or 7th. Don't get me started about Branch Warren, the ugliest most unpleasant to look at physique in the ifbb today. Yes he's big and freaky but he's so blocky and he's so short that it just doesn't look right. I thought he was done after last year unfortunately he isn't yet. I would have put him 10th.Ramy, jesus christ, so much bigger than everyone else. He dwarfs the biggest bodybuilders on the planet. The guy is a total, complete freak and will be Mr o in the next 5 years.Yes he was smooth from the back especially, very soft from the back. He has to figure that out cause if he can get his back hard he'll move way up. His legs are unreal and he needs to stop training them, they already make his calves look small. But he's symmetrical, a esthetic and unlike guys like Winkler he has a great midsection, no gut at all. I would have put him 5th despite his back just on how much bigger he was than everyone else. Victor Martinez is done, he'll never recapture his 2nd place form. I feel bad for him cause he got some bad breaks but he created those bad breaks. He's competing now cause he's broke and he has like 3 kids and he needs money. I do feel bad for him. Roll Winkler is a beast but he has to do something about that gut. That gh, insulin gut just ruins any physique. I was most surprised by the new guy from gahna, can't remember his name. He looked great and was definitely overlooked. Anyway that's my take. See u next year.
