the reps were perfect, got a great stretch, really good pump and didn’t feel overly fatigued today. Was good, I will deload until this coming Wednesday

I just don’t know how the mechanics, so to speak, work. Would I need to worry about calories or just packing in the protein?
I know about the electrolytes, and I have the psyllium husk and taurine coming and I have apple cider vinegar all for the digestion and probiotics.
I can cook some meat

I eat 3 a day totaling 1.2kg, just don't think about it and try and get it in in less than 9 minute before your brain knows what you've done to yourself! Fuck leptin get it in before leptin tries and fucks with you.

What does the psyllium husk before each meal do?
It's a prebiotic and a soluble fibre. You take it before eating and it helps reduce the rate of glucose absorption, clinically proven to reduce hypertension, and helps your biome by feeding the good bacteria which helps keep you regular too.

Put a bunch of it into a small amount of water and watch what happens. Then you'll know why drinking a lot of water with it is needed and you'll literally see the benefits in the glass of psyllium bound to water creating a sticky gel like ooze... but add more and more water and it becomes a slippery slide for your butthole and digestive track too.

@MarkNV Carnivore diet is almost entirely animal products which themselves give you a good protein to fat ratio, around 2:1 depending on the cut of meat. A true carnivore diet is very hard core, ask @toddthelineman about that. You can go pure carnivore or a modified carnivore using carb cycling only around workouts. I did it all year long and it works for me but not for others. Everyone is different. The whole using fat stores for energy due to ketosis on carnivore is easily researched so I won't bore you here with the details but in a nutshell when the body has no glucose coming in or onboard it will make it's own for the brain as a survival mechanism, a very old one, and use fat stores for energy to move because it doesn't have any Fruit Loops laying or 21st century 7-eleven diabetes in a bottle/wrapper to rely on; carnivore is what our ancestors went through and none of them looked like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man.

One thing I forgot to mention about psyllium husk and the ACV is that yes Spoonman is correct it also does help to curb appetite and promotes satiety both when not eating and helps you eat a little less than you would have otherwise.

In my case I cook what's needed and I don't care about appetite, I eat what I need to eat. The other night in the mod chat I had to ask if anyone has ever eaten so much that they gets the sweats and their stomach feels like it's gonna explode and is so painful that they can't sit down LOL. I get almost zero pleasure from food and don't need it either, and I ignore cravings unless it's time to eat. The only cravings I haven't historically been able to ignore are my night time zombified middle of the night eating due to the medication I take for O/S. I've woken up to an empty bag of Doritos or an entire bag of Cheetos in my bed with them all over the floor to and been "aw for fuck sake" out loud when I wake up. :ROFLMAO:This is all just me though.

For example tonight postworkout is Karbolyn for carbs and 5 chicken breasts, I'm just sitting down to eat them now and they're all getting put in no matter what. LOL. I'm trying to begin a recomp and cut a bit so red meat will come in when I know I need more fat for energy, like Spoonman said.

I think at this stage lets not worry about calories, lets see how you do with higher meat less carbs first :D @MarkNV and 1 scoop of no sugar electrolytes and 2 grams taurine is a start

Interesting stuff!! It makes total sense to me .
Especially the body changing to pull from fat stores for energy with the lack of glucose.
I think Loading some carbs preworkout will be okay for me….just a little.
If you were cycling something that had your
Protein synthesis in overdrive, the fat would drop off and your lean mass would go crazy!!

Sweet potato is my fave carb right now. It's also what's in Karbolyn. Don't waste food bro definitely prep it just keep it to small portions around workouts and morning with heavy on the meats and keep us posted.

Meth is a strange monster , it is such a private addiction, it is a very dark and dirty drug.
If you make out the other side intact, you will definitely have a great love and appreciation for life. I am glad you survived it, and I am happy you are here spreading positivity and encouragement for others, addicts that survive do that better than anyone because we get to brush up against our own mortality and it is eye opening for sure!
We need you here @SPOONMAN366 just like we need @HarleyGuy, having that combined energy in our corners is power!!!
