Well brothers im taking another rest day. After being up on a ladder twisting sideways for hours today, id describe my current status as "couch crippled". Wont promise tomorrow night as i think ill have to see when the time comes. Ill be resting most of tomorrow.

Havent pinched a nerve this bad since january i think? Well time to hit the hay.

So it appears i slept real good last night. Completely forgot to post a log update. Lol. So i wanted to lift tonight as i definitely could have but i remembered @LevButlerov said take 3-4 days off and although im not taking 3 days off, taking an extra day as a precaution. Id rather not have another setback. Instead ill be doing a high volume full upper workout tomorrow. NO PR's. Ill have to bring snacks for intra workout carbs.

I plan on hitting chest, lats, lower back, shoulders, biceps, tricep and maybe abs. Ive also added standalone GHK as well.

Idk how he gets that many carbs in and stays peeled. He is socked how i still function n do all i do with less than 100 grams of carbs a day 😂

Indeed i am. I dont know how anyone on a low carb diet can get through their days feeling gassed constantly. I found cutting weight fairly easy with carbs between 150-300g and 1hr of sustained cardio (obviously intensity and duration can be adjusted). Now with any bulk, and especially when i hammered out the protein king with a dirty bulk, ive of course lost the definition in my abs but you must trust the bulk. Im slowly returning to a lower intake

Have you ever tried higher carb? May give you some extra jam on your lifts. I noticed on your log that you’re squatting 155lbs, and on a strength cycle with higher protein, added testosterone and anavar and the length of time you’ve been lifting you should definitely be squatting higher numbers than that (in my humble opinion). I went from 135 to 315 in about three months without gear earlier last year on a strength program. Mind you that was low bar I’ve switched to high bar now to prevent knee and elbow discomfort. I was running a calorie surplus however with about 300 protein and lots of carbs. Carbs could get you to the next level with your lifts.

I love a PWO cup of white rice. Great pumps and just a little boost on those heavier sets.

I used to use an ATP carb drink intraworkout. I found it really worked wonders on those heavy sessions after a 14 hour work day. You know the kind of sessions where the weight on the bar scares you. But now I’m all jacked up on sticky rice with most meals I’m not lacking on the given’r.

I hear ya. But my body has adjusted to it now, and before 2017, when stuff was different, i would eat like you do and still be in fight ready shape lift alot. I used to weight in at less than 80kgs (usually around 170lbs) at 16% bf. My upper abs were visible on good days. But i didn't have this much muscle i have now.

Since i became a fat slob and went to 115kgs (248lbs), and wanted to get back in shape n like myself in the mirror, we pivoted to lower carbs for fat loss. Have you ever tried higher carb? May give you some extra jam on your lifts. I noticed on your log that you’re squatting 155lbs, and on a strength cycle with higher protein, added testosterone and anavar and the length of time you’ve been lifting you should definitely be squatting higher numbers than that (in my humble opinion). I went from 135 to 315 in about three months without gear earlier last year on a strength program. Mind you that was low bar I’ve switched to high bar now to prevent knee and elbow discomfort. I was running a calorie surplus however with about 300 protein and lots of carbs. Carbs could get you to the next level with your lifts.
Yeah i have tried higher carbs, i used to be on about 220 to 300 grams carbs pre 2017 and still be in fight shape. Ofcourse not as much muscle as i have now.

The wights i am lifting right now, especially on squats, benching (dbs), overhead presses... the numbers are ofc low cause of me being injured and being careful i dont flare them back up.
I used to squat 225 for reps and bench 225 for reps before, the max squat i did was 300ish i think?. The injured just prevent me from doing that now. And yes, lower carbs play a big role in that too, even on days i go 150grams carbs. The following day my lifts are heavier n better but i will still only squats up slowly as my back and knee are parts i had to rehad and they are still not a 100%. I just wanna get below 80kgs 1st and then increase carbs to lift heavier.

I was able to deadlift 170kgs (370lbs) for 2 reps in February. Just have to lift smarter for now.

If you see my log, yesterday's post, i tried to do a flat barbell press of 155lbs my shoulder hurt so much i felt like I'll tear it apart. Same for the knee if i am not careful in jujitsu or lifting.

Today is a leg day and i do plab to try 170ish on squats. Its not a strength issue, its more of a injury precention thing. And yes, more carbs will help, but as i mentioned... lets have me go below 80kgs 1st.
 
I hear ya. But my body has adjusted to it now, and before 2017, when stuff was different, i would eat like you do and still be in fight ready shape lift alot. I used to weight in at less than 80kgs (usually around 170lbs) at 16% bf. My upper abs were visible on good days. But i didn't have this much muscle i have now.

Since i became a fat slob and went to 115kgs (248lbs), and wanted to get back in shape n like myself in the mirror, we pivoted to lower carbs for fat loss. Well i hope your injuries heal up by the time you hit your weight goal that way when you go higher carb you can lean in to heavier weights.

Right now, even if i have to push off a 200 pounder guy off mount, or have to base up on my elbow, i struggle with pain. So i gotta get it all right. We'll talk more about this on my log. Dont want a veteran's log to be about me atall.

Nah dont dont worry bout that. The logs for chatter anyways. Have you taken a full week off bjj or liftong at all? It may do you good to do a heavy cardio only week.

So it appears i slept real good last night. Completely forgot to post a log update. Lol. So i wanted to lift tonight as i definitely could have but i remembered @LevButlerov said take 3-4 days off and although im not taking 3 days off, taking an extra day as a precaution. Id rather not have another setback. Instead ill be doing a high volume full upper workout tomorrow. NO PR's. Ill have to bring snacks for intra workout carbs.

I plan on hitting chest, lats, lower back, shoulders, biceps, tricep and maybe abs. Ive also added standalone GHK as well.

Ive haf too much damn time off lol. I definitely need to re start my back health routine of frequent back extensions. 2 months without lower back work degenerated quickly.
if you get hurt its all time off so best go slow :D and deload at times
 
Well bros, my back got a bit pinchy with some yard work but i still madw it to the gym. Back extension really helped i think. Shes a bit tender but as long as i dont trip on the sidewalk or get caught in the rain id call tonight a success. Ill log later.

Update:
So back got a little tweak in it doing some yard work but i still made it to the gym. I did bodyweight back extensions in the middle and at the end of workout and although it did strain it a bit, i believe it did some real good. Im a bit sore now but i think ill be doing back ext a bit every workout.

Didnt eat a helluva lot today so i had mac & cheese with my shake post gym lol. Slowly trimmin the bulk down.

Reintroduced hgh at just 2iu split am/pm. It was already reconned and the partial edema i still get i believe is from something else. Ill be leaving creatine out and gh will stay at max 2iu. I may need to go with a low test base next cycle if edema at the previous 250mg was the problem. The edema was pre-oxygen gear so it was on 250mg test, 200eq, 40mg var and 6iu gh. Next cycle i might try a test only cycle to check and see if that was the cause but thats for in the future. Ill ride this out for 9 more weeks with compression socks etc.

Now time for a good sleep.

Twas killer. I got the KD Shaker from costco to add more, or put on different pasta. The next time i make rice im goibg to KD ot.

I got a 20cup rice cooker so im excited to try kd rice. Lunch today was super carb heavy, dinner it a stuffed tenderloin with duck legs.

Well i apparently slept throught he gym last night. After 500+ grams of stuffed tenderloin for a pre workout meal i was charging my phone for the walk and fell asleep til 130ish. Was a storm rolling in for 245am so i just took my supps and peps and slept for around 12.5hrs last night. :LOL:

Todays a new day i guess and im starting it with duck legs and bagels for breaky.

Todays a new day i guess and im starting it with duck legs and bagels for breaky.

Slept through last nights gym time by accident and then tonight a massive ocd attack that took quite a while to calm down from.

Its been a rough week. Just macros tonight. Sorry bros but im mentally exhausted. Still quite stressed so im going to down some melatonin and lay in the dark to try and sleep if i can.
