This has to do with Milk from Dairy Cows who Aren't Grass Fed.

Since the only Milk I do drink is Raw from Grass Fed Cows, I thought I would share this.

I didn't type this out, because it's very long, so I have the Link to it.

If you have the time, read this Entire Article, it's really Eye Opening.

What you may have thought about Milk, is All Advertising.

P.S.
I probably go through 10 to 15 Blogs a day, on Diet and Nutrition.

Love Raw milk...www.organicpastures.com......This a great company.....There products are sold all over California....I have met most of the family over the years and are very stand up people....I would def try if you get a chance....
I know the Company, but they don't ship to the East Coast.

I have a Local Farm, that I go to, only about 20 minutes away, there's a lot of Farms in the Burbs out my way..............................JP

P.S.
There's a lot of places in Philly that also sell Raw Milk now.

Cool....Glad you have access.....Raw milk gives me know bloat.....I throw 2 scoops whey and down the hatch....

It's illegal in my state...i'm constantly look for a raw source.
It used to be Illegal in Pa. back in the day.

I just approached an Amish Farmer, and told him what I was looking for, he didn't have a problem with it.

I used to live in the Sticks for a few years, in the late 70's, and I got all my Stuff from the Amish....................................JP

P.S.
These days I can go right to the Reading Terminal at 12th & Arch, Amish there also.

I lived in MD but on my back deck could see Lancaster co PA. Would cross the line for "real food" every week....by real i mean what the Amish eat...cause they know whats up.

LOVE Amish foods! They know how to eat, and I almost envy their lifestyle. I don't care for that Amish mafia tv show, however.

JP got any good info on home grown honey? I hear the darker the more minerals and better for you. I crush honey, with Ezekiel bread and natty almond butter as a post workout cars/fats.

That had to be the worst tv show ever.....I use to laugh at they tough guys.....Pretty sure that it has gone......

Yeah, it's the dumbest thing I wasted 5 minutes on. Lol! I have been through Amish country in both PA, and OH with my Grandparents when they were alive on numerous occasions, and the foods they would buy, put in their cooler in the back of the station wagon (yes, station wagon lol), were outrageously good! And the butter... Off the chain!

Yes, there's a Website to find Honey Suppliers Nationally

www.honey.com/honey-locator/

That will get you to the site, and then put in what State and all other Criteria................................JP

P.S.
I use to know this Old Italian guy that raised his own Honey Bee's, best damn Honey I've ever eaten.

My Grandparents came here from Italy. One thing we can sure do, and do well is food! And btw, I get local honey here in FL, and anytime family comes here to visit, and has an allergy outbreak during this pollen nightmare we've had the last two months, 1TBS local honey, and they're g2g. Amazing stuff!

Have you ever tried Bee Propolis, it's what the Bee's use to Line the Hive to keep it Sterile.

I've been taking it for almost 20 years, and never get Sick.

The most I've had in the last 20 years, is a 1 day Nose Irritation, running and sneezing a little, and then it's gone the next day...............JP

P.S.
Propolis is one of Nature's Richest Sources of Bioflavonoids, it's been in use Since 350 B.C.

I've never tried it, but could understand it would work well. Where do you get it?

Hell, don't remind me.

I Grew up in my Uncle's Italian Deli - they made Fresh Mozzarella and Ricotta from Raw Milk, until the late 60's.

That's when the USDA said that all milk for cheese making had to be not only Pasteurized, but Homogenized.

That threw my Uncle's Recipe, in the Shit Can for about a month.

It made no sense, when you make Cheese, you Heat the Milk to 170 Degree's for over an Hour, no Bacteria survives.

Homogenizing is so all the Fat in the Milk is Incorporated, only the Older Guys will remember this.

When you got Milk delivered to your House, all the Fat would be on Top, especially in Winter.

Sometimes, it would even push the Cardboard top off the Milk.

I would love to Scoop it off the Top and either put it in Coffee or Hot Chocolate...............................JP

P.S.
My whole Family is from the Old Country.

I Originally got some from an Italian neighbor, when I scratched my Arm with a Rusty Nail, while doing some work for Him.

He went out to one of his Hive's and took some out of the Hive, and put it on the Scratch, and said to me, now it won't get Infected. Healed in 2 days.

It took me a little while to Identify the Substance, until I first saw it in an Amish Store in Downingtown, Pa., that was 1977.

Now it's east to find online, Amazon or the Vit Shoppe, or probably any place that has a large Inventory.

The one I use is by a Company (Y.S. Royal Jelly/Honey Bee - Ultra Mega Strength) Propolis 1,000 mg. - It's Organic

It also comes in Powder, this Company makes several products, all Organic, and the price is Reasonable.

Also, the one I get is Raw and Unprocessed, and has a very strong smell, but it's not Offensive, smells like a Raw Comb from the Hive.................JP

I have a hive right across the road that produces some of the sweetest raw honey you ever seen! If you're interested in some, let me know!

I have seen that AMISH show, bloody hell it was funny.....

Speaking of milk, im using Almond milk most days, its quite taste........

Outstanding! And I can only imagine how good that fresh motz and ricotta tasted! If you have the recipe, and watched it being made, you've got something there!!! Wow!

i love the reading terminal! i drive there just for the amish freshly made juices.....JP you have some great knowledge in natural healing and foods. we should meet up one day at the termial and have lunch bro since you live in MY city.....lol

I switched to almond milk and never looked back. Since I don't drink milk, I stopped eating cookies. Win win I guess

I love regular milk and drank it all the time until i realized it was the reason my belly would bloat out all distended like a starving child from those save the world commercials. Have since given it up for almond milk.

I used to drink Almond Milk, I would put it into my Protein Shakes.
Now that I've been increasing my Fats, I switched to Raw Almonds, grind them up a little, and put them into my Protein Shake.
Heading to the Reading to get some Raw Milk today.......................................................JP
P.S.
Raw Milk doesn't give you all that Bloat, Grass Fed Cows without Growth Hormone's, higher in CLA.

I try to stay away from milk all together. Humans weren't constructed to drink dairy milk, causes stomach and GI inflammation and the phosphorus to calcium ratio is horrible. I choose almond milk over regular milk anyday, less sugar, has good fats, no cholesterol and isn't hard on the GI. Nice post bro.
