Hello bros (and sis’s),

Planning to venture into the land of anabolics. I am M 33 190lbs 6’.

Current training schedule is 3-5 days a week, typical bro split chest/back/shoulders/legs/arms. Zero cardio.

Sleep schedule is solid 7-9 hours.

Diet is heavily protein focused but consists of 2 meals/day with protein shakes and whole milk to supplement. I don’t count macros but a typical day looks like grilled chicken wrap for lunch (take out from office cafe) and 16oz steak for dinner (grass fed), fruit to snack, glass or two of full fat milk, whey shake. Sometimes snack on garbage and probably drive too much wine on weekends (only). Sometimes mix in carbs such as rice or potatoes but not frequently. Once I start cycling will dial back drinking to nil and am happy for feedback on diet. Try to focus on animal based foods (ie. meat, dairy, fruit, honey, etc) but open to suggestions.

Current supplement stack includes vit C 1000mg, vit d 5000iu, magnesium bisglycinate 637.5mg, NAC 1000mg, vit k2 100mcg, nattokinase 4000fu, milk thistle 500mg, L-theanine 500mg. All daily. 10g grass fed beef collagen occasionally (1-3 times weekly, when I remember). In addition, ~7.5g Creatine daily and a non-stim preworkout high in L-citrulline, beta-alanine, and agmatine.

Been training for about 15 years total. 12 years when I was younger, 6 year break, and back at it for 3 years. Did one cycle in uni of sust and anavar + pct. Hated pinning myself but have a wife now who will do the dirty work lol.

Thinking of running 250mg/wk test e or c (opinions welcome, from my research there’s not much difference) and 20mg/day anavar for 10 weeks. Looking to gain mass and strength while getting leaner. I will be dialing in diet and tracking workouts.

Open to any and all suggestions. Feel free to ask any questions if I’ve left any details out.

If you are eating hard to digest foods such as dairy or things like peas/beans it isn't a bad idea to consume some digestive enzymes before your meals

Taking a long break is not a bad idea.

Give us your body a chance to rest. So you come back fresh.
 
Why no cardio just out of curiosity. Cardio's important.
 
Before you start the cycle, I would get blood work done. This way, you can see where your Baseline is.
 
What was the reason out of curiosity where you took a six-year break from training? I think that's a good story.
Just life got in the way. Starting my career and moving around a lot. Mostly BS excuses haha

Before you start the cycle, I would get blood work done. This way, you can see where your Baseline is.
I got some done about a year ago I should probably get it done again. Will see if I can.
 
What’s up bros. Figured I’d log my first workout since my original post.

Smashed a bunch of rigatoni bolognese last night. Training this morning fasted since then.

Shoulda day (lbs/reps)

Seated dumbbell press
70/12x, 75/10x, 80/8x

Upright bar row
90/14x, 100/10x, 110/8x

Seated plate loaded Olympus machine (not really sure what it’s called). Neutral grip
100/10x, 110/8x, 115/8x

Dumbbell lateral raises
20/14x, 25/10x, 30/8x

Rear delt fly on the pec deck
100/16x, 110/16x, 120/12x

Gonna go crush some bacon and eggs. Will work to get some pics up this week. Have a good Sunday bros!
 
So 250 every 4 days that's pretty good starting point. You will get some nice steady gains. Make sure you adjust your intensity in the gym to match the increased anabolism.
