EC stack

Question for those of you that do EC (ephedrine, caffeine) stack. Do you still use your pre workout drink when running the EC or is it too much? I haven't yet tried the EC but I am thinking about running for a quick 4 to 6 weeks. I am not using the aspirin since I take a lot of fish oil daily anyway. I am planning on starting twice a day 16 mg E and 200 mg of caffeine and eventually going up to three times a day 24 mg E and 200 mg of caffeine if I can tolerate it.
 
I currently run the ECA stack twice a day. Once upon waking at 9 and another dosage at 6pm. On my second dosage I don't feel it hit me until about 8pm and I go to the gym around 9:30 so I don't even bother with a preworkout. I'm a lil sensitive to caffeine so everybody's case maybe different but I would just check how much caffeine is in your preworkout and how many times you are taking your EC stack. They say the aspirin prolongs the effects of the EC but then again I never tried it without Asprin so I wouldn't know the difference
 
The highest you should go is 24mg E per day and 600mg C per day. Split into 3 doses of 8mg E and 200mg C. I would definitely not use a stim based pre if that's what you normally use. You could just do one of your EC doses 30 minutes prior to training.

The standard dose for EC stack is 24 mg of E and 200 mg of Caffeine three times a day. 8 mg of E would not do much

Correct bro, my error. 24mg three times per day, 200mg caffeine three times per day.
 
But I am going to start at 24 mg of E and 200 mg of caffeine twice a day and go up to 3 times a day once I see how my body responds.

I know that is the 'standard' dosage but that dosage is absurdly high. There is really no need to go above 100mg caffeine + 8mg ephedrine 1-2 times per day

Really? You think so? I have never heard of anyone running ephedrine that low, I know people do run the caffeine at that level. Back in the day they didn't make ephedrine in anything lower then a 25 mg tab.

For me, if I am running EC it is because I need it. I always go with the typical 24mg x 3 and 200mg x3. I want it to be strong and destroy my appetite. But I don't run it for longer than a few weeks and not very frequently. But when I do, I need it to be the most effective.

Yes that makes sense and I agree with this. I may try it for 6 weeks but tapering up and then down at the end to avoid too much withdrawal symptoms from the caffeine.

Tapering works for me. Let me know how you make out.
