19 yo college wrestler 5'9 150 lbs. goal is to gain strength not size or weight. next season i'll compete at 138 which is why i dont want to bulk up. thinking of combining halo and anavar or one of them alone. been told to add test but i think at 19 i dont need it. season starts in october just looking for strenth gain not a long lasting steroid use.

go back and do more research, Test should ALWAYS be your first cycle and ALWAYS be in every cycle, otherwise youll be shut down without it by using others
not to mention youre only 19

ok i thought i wouldnt need it that at 19 i produced enough naturally- unless your saying the var/halo would suppress my natural production. would the test add body weight?

Starting early cycle is not good for your growth.
At this age, losing weight should be on a balance diet and training frequently.

All steroids are derivatives of testosterone. Anavar and halotestin are both modified testosterone hormones. They will STILL suppress your natural testosterone production.

19 is way too young for steroids. I know this is not what you want to hear but you will thank us later on down the road. You will actually end up WORSE off after the steroid cycle because you will suppress your body's natural testosterone production and you will upset the normal puberty process.

At 19, your body is already primed to grow. You just need to follow a high protein diet and train hard. If you want to supplement with anything, use a high quality protein powder like isolation from n2bm.com to help meet your body's daily protein requirements.

diet and training. maybe some creatine

If a steroid source is telling you to rely on diet and creatine, that should be food for thought. They would be benefited by selling gear to you, but they say that you should not be using it, and I completely agree with that. All in all, you need to do much more research - after all, it is your health we are talking about here.

That highly depends on the diet. If you dont overeat and dont give the body the conditions to grow - it will not grow. However, I would suggest staying off AS for a while, as you are still very young

You're only 19, these steroid like anavar, halo cannot be used to gain strength for you because of its side effects. It's bad for your body growth.

i understand the concern, but this is a one time cycle. season starts oct ends in feb. My main focus is to gain strength to offset the strength loss when cutting to 138. i thought if i started the cycle in nov id peak strength gain for middle-end of season. once season ends im not going to cycle again- my interest is for wrestling season only. i have read that halo is used mostly by wrestlers,mma,boxers- where need strength w/o gaining pounds.

Agreed. Creatine is the only supplement I would think of adding. At 19 if you have a good diet and training routine, you will gain strength.
