BCCA or Glutamine or both..?

Glutamine is good for gut health and immune function, but it will do very little for muscle growth and recovery. It isn't even an essential amino acid.

BCAA are much better in that regard. The amino acid L-leucine in BCAA directly signals protein synthesis through the mTor pathway. I personally use the BCAA and bovine plasma serum protein gear from n2bm.com. I use 1 serving before and after each workout.

I would personally just use BCAA and save your money on the glutamine.

taking both glutamine and BCCA are pointless.? what is worth taking..?

I stopped taking Glutamine as I didn't notice any Direct Benefit.

I do however take BCAA's.
And I also take L-Leucine alone a few times a day when I'm On Cycle.
Like Muskate has already said, it helps with Protein Synthesis........................................... JP
 
If you have some extra cash, you can take glutamine, but if you are short on money and need this little extra in the gym - BCAA is the way to go.
