Is it a good idea to take clomid when you are going to be on some gear for a few months straight? Or do i wait until i'm going to come off for a while. I'm not concerned with the extra clomid that i will need, but want to know if its a plus to do? Left.
I personally don't recommend using HCG with your cycle. HCG is some nasty stuff. It actually raises estrogen levels and often is what CAUSES the gyno people experience from their cycle. Read this: http://www.evolutionary.org/hcg-dangers-exposed/
Whenever you put an artificial source of steroids in your body, your natural production is going to be suppressed. It is inevitable and there is nothing you can do about it. It isn't overly serious because if you run a proper PCT after your cycle, your natural testosterone production will bounce back quickly.
HCG won't make you avoid the shutdown, as it may cause suppression on its own. In fact, nothing will help you avoid being shut down on a cycle, as your body will stop producing testosterone the moment it feels any of the gear in the system. You may use HCG, but it won't stimulate natural testosterone production, and it will only mimic it. Hence, it is quite pointless for the stimulation of natural testosterone production.

I have used clomid during cycles but only to eliminate pockets of estrogen in my right pec which, had it been left untreated, would have led to the development of gynecomastia. (Yes, in my right pec and right pec only. That has happened during virtually all of the cycles I have engaged in. Go figure.)
So, unless you develop a similar problem during a cycle, you shouldn't need clomid until your PCT.
