Do sources usually require your name via email to give you tracking information on your package?

You can give the source whatever name you want.

Personally I would use your real name

And don't dorget that sometimes the mailman won't leave the package of he sees a discrepancy in names.

My first order I got sent to a friends house using his name because my wife wasn't tracking

I've had to pick up orders at PO before and if I had used a fake name I would not have been able to get my shyt

Yes, you want to make sure whatever name you use can have packages deliverd to the addy you give him/her

I ordered. Didn't use a fake name. Source says package has been sent. Is asking me again for my name via email to give me tracking info. I would think all you need to know is the destination to give me the tracking #. Maybe I'm being paranoid?

yeah its best i would say to use your real name if your shipping it to your address cause if not that me mess up your delivery. if your sending to a friends then use there name lol.

He may have your tracking info attached to your name, remember sources send alot of packs....he may just want to make sure he gives you the right tracking #

I understand how people may get sketched out. But I've never had a problem with it and I work a pretty high profile job

Sometimes sources will require your signature, when this happens you might have to go to the post office to get it!
You then have to show a valid form of ID! ....if you used a fake name your screwed!

Maybe the source doesn't have order ID and needs your name or your email to locate your order between what they have shipped?

It is up to you. A fake name is also OK.
