In this episode, Steve and Mobster discuss what modeling means in bodybuilding, how much better your gains can be by picking the right model, examples of athletes we have modeled ourselves, and which Euro Pharma PEDs should use.


What does modeling mean in bodybuilding?

Mobster starts with an analogy about how you shouldn't model yourself on an athlete who is nothing like you.  An extreme example is the very tall basketball player you are trying to model yourself after when you are only 5'5''.  This is why Mobster says if what you are doing is working then keep it, if it isn't working then change it.  When you are new to this game you can model your goals after someone who has a similar physique and similar goals as you.

Mobster starts with Frank Zane who was never over 200 pounds on stage and was an ectomorph. Nick Walker is the opposite as he is a mesomorph who is thick all over from the waist down to his calves and up to his neck. If you are more of a Frank Zane genetic/physique then you should not train like Nick Walker, otherwise, you probably will be disappointed at your results.

How much better your gains can be by picking the right model

Steve says if you walk into a Golds Gym you might see pioneers of bodybuilding on the wall with guys like Charles Atlas, to Arnold, to Eugene Sandow, to Ronnie Coleman, etc.  He can remember a guy pointing to one of them and saying "I want to look like him" but he had lousy genetics and didn't show up at the gym more than once or twice a week.  If you want to look like that you aren't going to succeed because you aren't pushing your body enough to improve.

It's nice to have goals to model yourself after, but if you follow what guys like Ronnie Coleman do to a tee you will end up in trouble.  His diet will make you obese, his training will get you injured, and his PED use get you killed.  So it's important to dial it down and set a goal to model yourself after him but do it in a way that doesn't backfire on you.

Mobster talks about soccer players who would practice when they were kids kicking the ball against the wall over and over for years.  There have been football players who have literally slept with the ball in their hands and practiced for hours daily.  Training your body for bodybuilding is the same way, your body will get used to training at the gym and it will become conditioned for it.

 

Examples of athletes we have modeled ourselves after

Mobster goes over different athletes and takes a stab at what kind of body type they have. There are 3 types:

Endomorph, Mesomorph, and Ectomorph.  Identifying the type of body type that you have can go a long way in helping you model your training and goals around that to your advantage.  Ectomorphs are naturally lean and are considered hard gainers with fast metabolisms.

Mesomorphs tend to have narrow hips and clavicles, a generally thin build, and longer limbs.

Endormorphs have heavier bone structures and a wider torso and waist with a slower metabolism.

Steve says he has not modeled himself after anything physical but has modeled himself after what they do OUTSIDE the competition.  Their sleep, diet, lifestyles, etc is what he pays close attention to and learns from.  He gives the example of a home he recently looked at which was amazing, but he didn't get it because the AC unit was right outside the bedroom and it was LOUD, which would wake him up constantly during the night.

Cutting:

Primobolan- Primo is a great cutter and it was very popular back in the 70s during the Golden Age. A dose of 300-500mgs a week is good.

Masteron- This is the best hardener and needs to be stacked for the best results. A dose of 200-500mgs a week is perfect.

Winstrol- This steroid will dry you out like nothing else. It dries you out so much your joints will feel those effects.  A dose of 25-50mgs a day does the job.

Turinabol- This is a very mild steroid that is considered to be 'weak'. However, the flexibility allows you to use it with a lot of cardio cause the side effects are low.  A good dose is 20-50 mg a day.

The guys finish talking about Anavar and how it is great for both females and males.
