New to this community. Sorry if i posted this in wrong section but looking for alittle guidance from those with experience.

Ive been working out for about 7 years now. Currently 41 220lbs. I carry alot of bad weight around my midsection. Dieting is my biggest weakness so ive been thinking of trying Reta to trim down. I tried to run trt alittle more than a year ago but i hated how much acne my back got.
Do yall think its worth running reta allow?

Mate, I was skeptical of reta at the start, but let me tell you, there is literally no negative to it that I can see - it wont do the work for you, but it does make it 100% easier to adhere to a diet, but it has alot of benefits for lipids, insulin sensitivity and alot more, start low and slow like .5 or 1mg a week and see how you go.

Get off the fence bro 😆 Reta is one amazing pep and i can tell you from experience and all my clients its the best burning fat compound.One of my good clients @hungryhippo can confirm with his journey.Remember to start small dosing and see how you go,still need to eat but it can suppress appetite.Good luck homie you got this

At the start I was doing 2mg I ran it for about 8 weeks, now that I am quite lean it seems to have started not really working for me, but I have not much left to lose.
But when I was cutting from like 20% I would forget to eat 😂

I run 2mg a week bro,more than enough but start there.Diet is key here aswell but ive been on holiday eating cheat meals like crazy and still dropped weight on reta....Cant go wrong my man
 
At the start I was doing 2mg I ran it for about 8 weeks, now that I am quite lean it seems to have started not really working for me, but I have not much left to lose.
But when I was cutting from like 20% I would forget to eat 😂
I usually do intermittent fasting 18/6 .. its helped me somewhat maintain but leading up to the holidays i missed the gym for 2 months and kind of spiraled in the wrong direction lol. Finally got back in to a good workout routine again and just trying to finally have abs for once. 😆😅

Give it a go man, one 10mg vial will last you over ten months its low investment, low risk, high reward

I have been on it 11 weeks now and it's been amazing. It allows you to completely redesign your diet and stick to the design. Along with testosterone it changed my life. I posted pics from week 1, week 7 and week 11 in my log here last week.

Ty i just went through your log ... and ive seen acouple others. Tbh thats alittle overwhelming for me lol. I like to keep things simple but if and when i do start to run something id definitely need to start one to keep track.

My log is a very poor example of what logging usually looks like, I am unemployed and use it like a regular journal. I just linked it because that's where my reta progress pictures are. My first log was 8 weeks of just testosterone at 300mg and retatrutide. That's in my signature but I think you can see how it went from those three photos.

The focus of the logs is diet, training, supplements and PEDs. There's many pros and experienced guys on Evo, and if they see a pic of your torso and can see how you eat and train, they can give you really specific tailored advice to just you. Without that it's kinda general and guesswork, that's why most standard info sources suck.

Our head mod @LevButlerov has a nice list of logs that are good examples, and shows how the key details of logs take about 15 minutes a day to do. I'm sure he'll be happy to share the list with you :)

Ill try to get up to speed on a propper log
But it definitely wont be as detailed as most others. For now i think I'll just run reta for acouple weeks and see how that goes. Do you know if there is muscle lose running reta with out any other compound?

Accountability, self esteem, and consistency all which lead to RESULTS!

Authoring a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread using a full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
It will take 15-20 minutes max.
We have 100's of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Do you still want to have kids? I recommend becoming as learned as possible on steroids in this order:


  1. PCT (after steroid usage how can you come off in a healthy way to get your natural test, hormones and HPTA back up and running)
  2. Diet/Supps (we must see you have this dialed in with the proper macros and calories and supplements)
  3. Training (we need to make sure you're training is consistent and proper)
  4. Steroids (then, if you trust this forum which you should, we will get you squared away for a proper cycle suited and tailored to you)
 
Do you know if there is muscle lose running reta with out any other compound?

When you take retatrutide you should make sure you get a lot of protien which will help with that but not from the reta itself. This is another thing @LevButlerov is a pro at, he helped me figure out this high-protien diet I've been on since starting retatrutide. It wasn't really optional, I could not continue the high-fat diet I was on while on reta.

For me I was trying to loose a lot of weight and havd been in a pretty steep deficit the whole time. I mainly have whey protien shakes, 4 a day, with 5 eggs in each.

Apart from having those 20 eggs and the whey I wasn't eating much else, but I'm sure the 300mg of testosterone would have prevented muscle loss if I had any to loose. Without the testosterone I think I probably would have lost some.

Testosterone was the main focus for me, not the reta initially, I had medical problems and needed testosterone. I call that first 8 weeks my weight loss and prep phase. I was prepping for my first stacked cycle, which I'm 6 weeks into now. I saw how amazing the two were together and I recommend this pre-cycle prep phase to others in a similar position as I was.

So I'm not really sure sorry bro, but someone else will have experience with that :)

I was on 200mg a week. Prescribed by a clinic. Reta isnt 100% necessary but i tend to over eat alot and feel hungry all the time. So maybe reta will help a bit.
i typically do this split

Day1 Chest/ light arms
Day2 Back/light shoulder
Day 3 Arms/shoulder
Day 4 Legs/abs (not as consistent as i should)
Day 5 Rest day or repeat depending on how my body feels

I used to track macros with an app called Lose It but its been years since ive been consistent with it

Ive also meal prepped but usually only last 2 weeks then i fall off on the nutrition again.

Ill attach some meal preps

Good post bro but if you follow the "How to log" info please start a new thread and it will be a log that is all yours.

So maybe reta will help a bit.
It will actually help a LOT.
