VAT is a huge health issue leading to many problems. I don't think it actually specifically targets VAT, rather it targets all fat stores indiscriminately. It increases glucose uptake in skeletal muscle tissue and increases muscle gene expression, especially genes involved in preferential lipid utilization. This shift changes the body’s metabolism to favor burning fat for energy instead of carbohydrates or muscle protein

GW501516 creates an affinity for lipolysis as opposed to glycolysis or gluconeogenisis; i.e. your body now uses fat for fuel.

It would work well with any diet, but your carb requirements with GW would be less since you are not using them for energy at the rate you are without GW.
