HGH Dosing Question

Hey Guys,

I could use some help when it comes to correctly dosing HGH on a 29 gauge 1/2 inch 100 measurement syringe. I usually use the go quick pen of genotropin at 0.9 on the dial which I believe translates to 2.5-3ius, but I was just in Costa Rica and picked up some Saizen over the counter and have to inject via syringe.

Before some one gives me crap saying do some research, I did. And the majority of it doesn’t match up. Some people say 2ius is on line 10 on the insulin syringe. Others say 3ius equals 60 on the insulin. There is a lot of bad advice out there. I would rather ask a stupid question and get the right answer then over or underdose. I’m looking to do 3ius 5 days a week.

man i never used saizen, to rich for my blood. wish i did but i cant comment

but on 10 iu vial, if you put 1 ml of bac water, 3 iu.. would be 3 on the insulin syringe line,

The saizen comes pre mixed so no bac water is needed.

If it's 10ius you put 1ml and every 10 mark is 1iu. If it's 18ius you put 1.8ius of water and every 10 mark is the same

Ok lets try this again. The saizen is 8mg which translates into 24ius. Its pre mixed so I dont need to add bac water. I'm using a 29 gauge syringe which has 100 markings on it and 100 equals 1 ml. So you're saying everything 10 line is 1 iu ? So If I wanted 3 Ius I would go to 30 on the syringe ?

You need to know what the total fluid volume is in the vial. According to the Saizenus website the vials come in only 2 sizes, 5 mg and 8.8 mg. Since 1 mg hgh = 3.33 iu, then the actual units in the 8.8 mg vial is about 29 iu. If the 8.8 mg vial is pre-mixed with 1.51 mL sterile or bac water, then 3 iu is at about the 16 iu mark on the 100 iu syringe. You can check my math but that should be about right.

1mg=3iu 5.83x3=17.49 17.49 iu/ 1ML
full Insulin syringe = 1ml which equals 17.49 IU./ 1 full insulin syringe
Divide 17.50 lets call it, by 10 for the 10 numbered hash marks on the insulin syringe.
17.50/10=1.75 IU per 10 mark on syringe.

24iu divided by 100 tick marks. Looks to me like you should do 12.5 tick marks to get 3iu

The 8mg pen comes with 1.37ml water. A 1ml syringe filled to the #100 is approx 17.5ius. I usually draw closer to 1.4mls out of a Saizen easy.click but the numbers are very close so I use the 1.37 number for my calculations.
