Hard jujitsu today, guy was a blue belt who recently won his divisoo. ADCC calgry. It was great. I got all the taps.

Arms:

Treadmill: 3 speed 3 incline 20 mins.

-Cable pushdows (3x20 130lbs) (weight up) Supersetted with Dual db hammer curls (1x12 2x15 [last few partials on 3rd set] 45lbs dumbbells) [reps up]
-Cable crossbody ext (3x20 30lbs) supersetted with Dual db incline curls (3x20 22.5lbs dumbbells last few on 2nd n 3rd set partials) [weight down - reps up]
-Cable pully overhead triceps ext, top down (3x20 130bs) [weight up] supersetted with ez bar curls (3x08 50lbs on the bar)
-Dual db overhead incline ext (1x20 15lbs dbs +2x20 17.5lbs dbs) supersetted with db spider curls (1x20 15lbs dbs + 2x20 17.5lbs dbs)

Forearms:
-Wrist curls fat bar: 3x15 supersetted with rev wrist curls fat bar 3x10. 15lbs on the bar. (Rev curls were shit)

Abs:
Leg raises: 2x15 supersetted with V holds: 2x15 secs each

I do not know what happened today while lifting... ofcourse i was already tired but i got my Anavar in as scheduled. Came to the gym and it started out good, veins pumping, looking hard and defined... but then all of a sudden, by the end of 2nd exercise, i notice the veins are almost all gone, i dont feel as much of a pump, could still push the weight but overall looked a bit puffy in the mirror... dont know what that was... i feel fine and all is good.


I might still show up to jujitsu open mat tomorrow if i dont feel ache-ish and/or depleted... what's the diet plan for tomorrow?

Oh man! I was so tried yesterday and had to prioritize some time away from screens and get good sleep. - Still tired and muscles sore thou (telling me I killed the workouts!)

I slept and couldn't post my food last night so here it is:

Beef and potatoes, cooked in 20ml olive oil and 155ml crushed tomatoes. Ate that with yogurt.



Took 0.25ml Cyp again today as scheduled in the morning today. was still sore and body needed fuel so I took out some forzen veggies and added 400 grams of boneless costco chicken chunks with some nandos creamy sauce (no sugar), ate it while at work and the picture is from when I already almost finished it all.:

Gonna take an @OxygenPharm Anavar in about 45 mins sublingual like @LevButlerov and @HarleyGuy suggested and will head for jujitsu in an hour from taking the var.

really hardcore training :D the vascularity issue might be you're depleted, you should do a refeed higher carbs to fill back up @zucchini 400-500 carbs with 1 cheat meal

I will get a protein shake + some beef pepperoni in today, maybe some potatoes too.

Saturday (tomorrow) and Sunday are usually off days from work and off from training unless i decide to go do openmat rolls for jujitsu on Saturday.

pick which day off training sunday is best usually no training rest and do a full refeed with a cheat meal :D

I was only taking 1 pill and it wasn't doing much, @Shakey suggested I take two pills and it's now back to having a profound affect. I miss the days where I could just blast a joint before bed and have guaranteed best sleep of my life - but we gotta be healthy in all facets of life and not just one or two.

I calculated your total calories for the day to be somewhere around ~1695, I don't know how you do everything you do running on that, but good on ya man if it works it works. I'm assuming that retatrutide really helps with the appetite suppression.

sounds like you have a busy weekend. Make sure you keep your diet clean, no junk.

Yeha bro, i started taking 2 of those 20mg Melatonin but that doesn't help much either...
I have actually never smoked anything in my life and i dont like the idea of weed or anything else tbh, i stay away.

And yes, the calories are low lol reta does help but i do feel depleted faster.

I remember when I used to train martial arts, and this was before I had any experience with peds.

There were some guys, even some older than me, that could go harder than everyone else...looking back i reckon they were also doing the ol pre class anavar 😅

There are fewer bad options when it comes to things like ice cream or cheesecake. They do exist out there. I once found a good cheesecake at the health food store.

Good workout today, to break out of weekend slumber.. some progress on weights going up as well. Was able to get 20 mins on treadmill Too.

The hazelnut spread is keto friendly, 22grams carbs out of which 21grams is fiber. but ofcourse, i am not gonna go crazy, it's only there for when I really want some.

I will be taking 3grams of taurine with 1 stick of electrolytes everyday.

well, i weighed in at 85.5kgs today after the refeed of yesterday... :confused::(
this is normal, every gram of carbs bring in 2 grams of water roughly so 500 grams carbs 1kg water easy :D and glycogen load
dont worry give it 3 days normal low carbs after

Ive got small pimples on chest, shoulders and some on my ass cheeks. Lol

A chill day today... topk my 20mg anavar and went to the gym at noon.

Shoulders Thursday:

Treadmill: 15 mins 3 speed 3 incline

Standing Side dumbbell laterals: 3x20 22.5lbs dbs supersetted with seated side db laterals 3x15 15lbs dbs.
Seated dumbbell presses: 3x10 45lbs (shoulder feeling a bit stable so thats a good sign)
***My front deltoids are so sore and pumped they feel like falling off***
Rope Face pulls: 3x15 95lbs
Ez bar upright rows: 4x10 50lbs on the bar (sets up from 3)
Db shrugs: 3x10 75lbs

All in all a good workout. Felt my delts work allaround and it was great. Sipped on my protein shake and had a protein bar when i got back to work.

Shoulders Thursday:

Treadmill: 15 mins 3 speed 3 incline

Standing Side dumbbell laterals: 3x20 22.5lbs dbs supersetted with seated side db laterals 3x15 15lbs dbs.
Seated dumbbell presses: 3x10 45lbs (shoulder feeling a bit stable so thats a good sign)
***My front deltoids are so sore and pumped they feel like falling off***
Rope Face pulls: 3x15 95lbs
Ez bar upright rows: 4x10 50lbs on the bar (sets up from 3)
Db shrugs: 3x10 75lbs

@zucchini potatoes are such a cheat code to me. I love it! I used to eat two whole potatoes every day during my cut this winter. I still do when i'm home It fills my stomach so much and it's so satiating. I just don't get bored eating them. A bit of smoked paprika and some salt and it's good to go after a quick trip in the oven.

Day started out after a goodnight's sleep and I was fresh.
Took my 20mg Anavar provided by @OxygenPharm at 11am before going for jujitsu today. Great session and a bunch of grinding rounds at the end.

Back to work and sipped on my protein shake. Around 3pm, took any Anavar and went to lift at 4pm. Was super excited for the lift day today being a leg day:
Treadmill: 20 mins. 3 speed 3 incline

Lying leg curls: 3x20 110lbs
Seated leg curls: 3x20 110lbs

Leg extension: 3x20 125lbs
Leg press: 3x15 360lbs on the rack
Barbell Squats: 3x08 135lbs
Bulgarian split squats: 3x10 each leg with 18lbs kettlebells in each hand

Kettlebell toe raises: 3x20 9lbs kettlebell each leg.
Standing calves raises: 3x21 70lbs + 2x12 (full rom) (seated calves was occupied)


Abs:
Lying (bench) leg raises 3x15 supersetted with v holds 3x15 secs

Great workout and super pumps today.

Came home and cooked 550grams chicken (marinated in yogurt and dry powdered spices) on a pan ate it with extra yogurt:

Yeah man potatos are good. All i do is add salt and a lil spray olive oil n airfry them they are filling and nutritious! And yeah. They dont feel like they'll bore me.

This brown belt i pair up with, we are so evenly matched in size and strength its amazing. He is a bit more technically sneeky as compared to me but i do a good job of reading the moves. Today was mostly x-guard and basecamping. We go back and forth he got me in choi-bars and shoulder crushes 2 times total. I got him in leg locks 2 times in total and almost an armbar but time ran out. Fucking great session!!

Not too sure but might go for open-mat tomorrow too.

Took 20mg Anavar before jujitsu and took my sodium drink with taurine along me.
What a technical sesh with scraps at the end.

I was going to suggest we fast, are you up for a 36 hour fast?
It's 7:35am (last I had food was 7pm last night). I woke up about an hour ago. Checked weight, it's 84.35kg now... I am pretty sure if I go train jujitsu today, I will be below 84kgs. Maybe we shouldn't refeed like last week but I think fast at this moment would be pretty unstable for me since I woke up a bit hungry as well... maybe a good idea for me to actually eat sustained food?

I can hold on till around 3pm ish which would be 20 hours fasted.

@zucchini how long have you been at the wrist curls? have you noticed big forearm gains from them? how long do you rest between sets? I may have to add these to my repertoire
They have been a part of my workout for quiet a while. And since I would say with coming back to training I pretty much started getting them in around mid of 2025, they definately help me in jujitsu and my forearms do match my upper arms a bit better so that's good.
I think just like calves for legs, everyone should have some forearm workout in their arm day to help with growth and overall strength.

I think just keeping a sustained diet at this point is better than doing big refeeds or big fasts...
I hear ya on that, it’s finding that balance of what sustainable long term if ya got a long way to go. What’s the end goal? And how long have you been cutting down man?

There is no fixed end goal I'd say, since after this phase is done we are gonna start stacking more density and size.
For now, the goal is to be below 80kgs and then reevaluate to see if we should keep on going down to 75kgs before we start to add muscle or not.

Ideally, i want to compete in jujitsu at -75kg brackets with max strength and muscle.

I started my weight loss journey in December of 2024 at 112.5kgs (248lbs) started logging bere in January of 2025.

I already had a good base for muscle underneath all the fat since lifting n fitness wasnt foreign to me. Life happened and i just had to move away from it all.

We did some drastic fatloss from start of 2025 to mid of 2025 and then we slowed down a bit to keep it more sustained. Picked it back up again around end of December 2025.

I like it man, seems like you got a solid plan and that’s some impressive weight loss so far. I found since starting my log, only a short time ago, it’s been a game changer for the motivation to not slide backwards. Looking forward to see what’s next man, keep er going.👊

Today's weight was 100 grams less than last saturday's

Let's see what I weighin at tomorrow morning, as long as it is less than 85kgs, i'd be happy. we can focus on getting down on 83.xx before Wednesday and then focus on hitting -83 by Saturday and then I will deserve my icecream 😂

20mg Anavar fasted 1 hour before jujitsu - worked with heavier taller guys, got my ass kicked today but super worth it and super fun!

Another 20mg Anavar 1 hour before lifts and Dunked my protein shake 30 mins before weights.

Back lifts:

Treadmill: 20 mins 3 speed 3 incline

Overhanded wide pullups: 3x15
Bent over barbell rows: 3x10 155lbs (all overhanded)
Cable wide grip pulldowns: 3x20 135lbs
Seated cable rows: 3x20 135lbs
Cable straight arm lat prayer: 3x15 100lbs
Meadows Rows: 3x10 45lbs each side
Hyper extensions: 3x15 55lbs total
Overhanded wide pulldowns (one more, heavy): 2x08 200lbs (solid reps but grips give out, might bring my straps next time)

Abs:
Overhead ball throw Crunches: 3x20 supersetted with side heel touches 3x30

Amazing training day today, even thou before going to jujitsu i had a bit of a stiff back, hips, n stiff neck. It worked out perfectly!

Gonna cook some Ground turkey and devour it.

Nice work man! How long have you been running 40mg of var? I’m using it in my next log cycle, going to start at 20mg pre workout but have heard a lot of guys go 20mg am/pm and have good results.

5 days lifting + 3 or 4 days jujitsu (one day being an openmat).
Monday is jujitsu noon, lifting evening. 2 pills 20mg each = total 40mg
Tuesday is lifting at noon only.One pill 20mg.
Wednesday is jujitsu noon, lifting evening.2 pills 20mg each = total 40mg
Thursday is lifting at noon only. One pill 20mg.
Friday is jujitsu noon, lifting evening. 2 pills 20mg each = total 40mg
Saturday is openmat for jujitsu, if i skip, no pill. One pill 20mg.

Right on, no issues? Seems like a solid addition to a high test base, excited to run it. Just listened to the podcast on evo about sublingual versus just taking the pill, you got any preference?

So far all good no issues. I am not someone who can see a clear difference until i push myself, but i can say that being of a deficit and working hard, i still have some strength to push even if not all.
I also do not have a preference on how to take it. But HG and LB say to take it sublingually so that's what i do. Its tastes like a bush leaf lol
