4 pound heavier after carb up, normal???

Im still on the evo diet and I lose fat but I gain weight after my weekly carb ups. Is this normal and just waterweight???Or am I doing something wrong.One day a week on one of my carb up days I eat 300 cals over maintenance to boost my metabolism.Is this a good idea to shock my body or should I keep my cals always the same???
 
Completely normal. Remember that your body stores carbohydrates as glycogen. Each glycogen molecule consists of 3 grams of water and 1 gram of carbohydrate. It is very heavy. An average sized main gain gain/loose 5-8 pounds based on the amount of glycogen stored in their muscles and livers.

That is why bodybuilders carb load before their show. It gives their muscles an increased fullness/roundness.

You are doing everything 100% correct. The refeed day is meant to be in a slightl calorie surplus.

Did you weigh your self before or after you went to take a shit? Could have a big factor.
