5 weeks out

im 5 weeks out from my show and had a quick question, i am running prop 3 weeks in and seen gains but im still trying to add some lean mass. so question is can i still get good muscle growth when starting winny cycle? diets in check minimizing cardio atm still pretty lean at 9% i believe lifting good just want to add a little weight but still stay lean before show day

What competition are you doing that 9% will pass for anything man? And why would you want to add more mass in this scenario? Winny will give a little bit of size but nothing significant especially if your in a deficit already, but if you are 5 weeks out I'd start that winny asap

i just want an extra 5-10 lbs im only in week 3 of prop and heard of real good things about week 4 i am naturally lean mens physique but my coach had my on double carbs cause i burn weight fast. i just want to come in a little bigger

What you are saying makes no sense at all man. You are 5 weeks out, and 9% bodyfat, and want to gain?! It does not work that way man. You are way too fat as it is right now to be in show condition. What class are you going into? Even if it is physique, you need to drop 3% bodyfat minimum to look good on stage and you only have 5 weeks to do it. You aren't going to gain an ounce of muscle if you concentrate on getting into condition for the stage

If you are trying to add mass that close to a show you should have offseasoned harder. The last 10 weeks should be all about conditioning and fine tuning. Growing season stops 12 weeks out minimum for me.

Huh??!! You should be 6-7% at least by 4 weeks out... you should get your prep and knowledge in line a little better bro. At 5 weeks out fuck you better be going all out for conditioning or else you won't be as lean as you should be. 5-10lb gain and come in show ready in 5 weeks.. really???!

Bro if you want to be ready you better start up fasted cardio/post w/o cardio 45min 5 days a week split between two sessions a day you think this sport is a damn game? I would go into more detail and help you but I think not, you seem like a delusional dumbass who thinks this sport is easy and you just step on stage and can be ready like zap. You're doing physique and I hope you aren't one of those panzy asses who represent physique as a pretty boy hollister model because at the IFBB and NPC national level that's not how it is.

Tell us how you really feel, haha. Nah for real bro I agree with gainscity this isn't a game. I'm 9 weeks out right now and counting and I despise the people who get on stage unconditioned and undersized and take time away from those of us in stage who grinded all year to present the best package possible. Rethink this man.

How do they even let them on stage ?? I met a few clowns today in the gym and all they talk about is getting on stage soon and I'm like dude your not even sub10.. I'm not competing this summer but I'm still trying to get high 6's low 7s for this modelling photo shoot, but the OP makes little sense as I stated in my first post

NPC doesn't care. I hate "transformation bodybuilders" the ones who are all like "I used to be fat, now I'm less fat so I'll compete". Like bruh, no leave it to the genetically gifted please.

Lol dude you're program is all fucked up, with 9% gaining mass should be the least of you're worries if you're only 5 weeks out lmao

understood. thank you just for the record i am physique not bodybuilding and i will come in at like 5-6% i was told by my coach that i should be good for the show on size but i just wanted to come in a little bigger

If he gets you down 4% in 5 weeks without wasting muscle with DNP. I WANT HIM. Haha cuz that's unheard of.

well just rechecked my bodyfat im at 7.5% i was guessing earlier but i do take the comments seriously and would like to thank you for the input

Good luck man, honestly, it takes nads to compete. Just understand that the guys you hear about "growing into a show" are the absolute genetic elite and have some serious pharmaceutical backing. The diet has to be perfect, the training has to be brutal, but even then, 5 weeks out = aint shit happening in terms of accrual of new muscle tissue. Good job so far from what you've said but just consider maybe waiting untill a slightly later show and come in at your true best. Having the time to really wither away the fat and then totally dial it in will only help your success. I'm all for people "competing for themselves" and all, but let's be honest, not intending to win is just unAmerican haha. You want to bring your best package and be ready, not try to stuff 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag so to speak by trying last ditch efforts to catch up when you're behind in your prep. Being ready early, having extra time to dial in carbs and water manipulation, not to mention more practice with your routine, and just crusing in is a better route.

Lastly, please don't be the guy who relies purely on gear and other compounds for muscle building and fat burning. I totally understand it's a huge part of physique sports, lol, and the main part of this particular forum area, but the guy who has a solid base, learns his body when it comes to training, nutrition and rest, and then adds in the nitrous is much better offin terms of both results and health. Sorry if I came off preachy, I just like to see people succeed in their endeavors. Good luck and be safe

If you would really like some solid advice on where to go from here, post up a pic. That the best way we can help you. After all you will be judged on exactly that in a few weeks anyways
