I thought creatine has no side effects? when they tested my kidneys they said my creatine too high so does that mean I shouldnt take creatine?

bro in theory creatine has a hit on the kidneys...but you gotta take a ton to hit your blood tests hard

I am with @gearhead on this one. Theoretically, it can affect your kidneys. On practice, you would need to take huge amounts of creatine for that to happen.

Creatine is one of the few supplements with hundreds of clinical studies backing it's safety and effectiveness. As long as you are using a sensible dosage, it is perfectly fine on your kidneys. The same people who argue that creatine supplementation is hard on your kidney's are the same people who argue that a high protein diet will cause kidney damage. Unless absolutely excessive - both are perfectly safe.

Supplement with 5-10g of creatine per day. I like the creatine supplement ancient strength from n2bm.com. Each serving contains 5g of a creatine blend from three different sources. I take 1 serving pre workout and post workout.

I get so sick of this ridiculous question.. i'm not sick of the OP asking at all, but I'm sick of the medical community being so fucking dumb

if you eat a cake before a glucose test and high have blood sugar does it mean you are a diabetic? NO. you are supposed to take it while fasting.. same with kidney test. so you should STOP the creatine a week before your kidney test to get an accurate number and you need to stop weight training too as that can effect it

the creatine is spiking your numbers artificially and so is your weight training. if your doctor does not realize this then they should be fired on the spot
