I am considering starting my first cycle and I want to know what would be a good start. I would like to do a simple first cycle if such a thing exists. I would love some input on what you think I should try.

Very nice thanks now I'm already pretty slim am I going to lose size with this cycle or will I be able to add some mass?

If you're wanting to bulk I would just run test E or C for 10 to 12 weeks @500mg per week. Make sure you have an AI on hand and have your PCT planned out. Simple cycle. One compound. Eat big and clean. Workout hard.

Running a test e/c cycle for your first time is your best bet. You might be able to put on a little size with the winny/anavar combo but no where near the test cycle. Whatever you decide on make sure you do your research and get all the necessary compounds.

Interesting do I need to do a PCT and take a break before I start a cutting cycle or can I jump into my cutting cycle right away?

No offense bro but I think you need to do more research before you even consider doing a cycle. From the above question I can tell you don't know very much about AAS. If you are here to learn, then that's great. Just don't jump into anything before you're ready. To answer your question, yes you need to do a PCT after the cycle. Time on USUALLY equals time off. I say usually because blood tests should ultimately determine if your ready to start another cycle.

Give us some stats: age, height, weight, training experience, etc...

You're absolutely right this is really the first time that I have seriously considered doing a cycle and I am here to learn I definitely don't know much about AAS. As far as stats I'm 26 6' 160 lbs around 10-12% BF I've been working on for about 7 years and bodybuilding for the past 2 years. My goal is to be around 180 lbs with single digit bf.

Well you've taken the first step in the right direction in admitting that you aren't that educated on the subject. Read, read, and read some more and if you have any questions or recommendations then there are plenty of people here on this forum that are basically walking books of knowledge over this subject and are more than willing to help

Before my first cycle I was 150 to 155 at 6'1" and a very high metabolism. I ran test e for 10 weeks and got to almost 180lbs. I ended up leveling out around 173. So I kept most of my gains. If I could go back in time I would have run it for 12 weeks, ate more and cleaner and used and AI. All I knew was to use an AI if problems occurred. Now I realize that running it during a cycle helps to keep estrogen sides down, bloat, BP, etc... Hopefully you can avoid the mistakes of others by researching and asking questions. We were ALL newbies at some point... There's some real educated bros here that can help you out. Just ask!!

6'0 160lbs? You need to eat more first before you jump on the juice wagon, to be honest. This is the thing that most people tend to either ignore or just not know about, it seems. If you want to weigh 180, then you need to train heavy and eat like someone who weighs 180. That is the bottom line of it.

As for the use of steroids ... if you are going to use anything, then use Test Enanthate or Test Cypionate at 400mg/wk over 12 weeks only for a first cycle. Have Aromasin on hand for possible Estrogen side-effects and have your HCG (HCGenerate is great as well), Clomid and Nolva squared away for PCT.

Nonetheless, I still stand by my first statement ... you need to eat more.

Yeah I agree bro. Most people think they are eating enough but they're not. But if he's like me at that age, I was hungry every thirty minutes cause my metabolism was SO high. No matter how much I ate I just couldn't seem to gain much weight. I was hungry and horny all the time at his age. I'm glad I waited until my metabolism slowed down some before I ran my first cycle.

Very interesting that seems like the route I will more than likely take once I do more research. Thanks for your input

Yea your right I am going to have more time to devote to my diet and training in September and then after that I'll decide on a cycle I appreciate your input

Good to hear. I remember when I was 'slim' and always hungry. I couldn't understand why I failed to gain weight even though I ate and trained. ONE important thing I learned later on is it not only depends on how MUCH you eat, but how much of WHAT you eat. My diet back then consisted mostly of carbs. Bread. Pasta and some minced beef. Veggies. Rice. Potatoes. Maybe some chicken on a Sunday. Even though I ate an average of 24 slices of bread a day with margarine and jam (jelly - usually strawberry or apricot flavour) and 3-5 packets of noodles, I wasn't eating enough of the RIGHT things.

So you need to eat ENOUGH in quantity of the RIGHT foods in quality. Add training to that, and you'll grow, but it takes time.

at your height and weight, its just flat out not safe to use steroids... when you make your body grow and too rapid of a pace, which yours will because your so undersized already, so when your anabolic the growth will be even more enhanced because its trying to take you to where you already should be at a rapid pace because you are already so far behind... then you will add even more size above and beyond where you SHOULD be... so lets say for arguments sake you gain 25 lbs on a cycle... 15 of that was easy because its where you should already be on average based on your height... then you add another ten... think about the extra stress and strain your body will be enduring growing that rapidly... steroids are supposed to get you past genetical potential, not get you there... your supposed to get there on your own and your not even close bro... your diet is extremely flawed... it has to be and that's what you need to address first... you can also take things like creatine, protein supplements and powder, strength increasers, etc.. you need to think about your safety and long term... you want health and longevity...

I totally agree that the most important thing is to know your diet and training first. But I don't buy this theory about being behind his potential and added muscle putting a strain on his body. Anyone who uses aas unless with gh is going to have problems with their ligaments and tendons keeping up with muscle growth and strength gains.

Yes, most anyone is going to experience somewhat discomfort when on AAS ... but what Dylan is saying that the INTENSITY of it in OP's case will be much more damaging than in the case of someone who already reached, or is VERY close to their genetic potential. In such a case, the person's musculoskeletal system is more adept to the strain which comes with the heavier weights. If your musculoskeletal system is not adept to it, and you suddenly place it under that strain because you feel you can as you strenght is way up there thanks to the juice, then your chances of being injured are significantly higher.

i couldnt tell you a thing about AAS. However, this is what i do and if you are an ectomorph like me it will most likely be to your advantage if you are trying to gain weight!
Take your weight 160 and multiply it by 20 = 3,200 calories or more a day! high protein! red meats, get a bag of chicken breasts bake em and keep them in your fridge so there ready to eat thru out the day. when you think you've ate enough, you most likely havent lol. get some casein protein, and some carbs right before bed, set an alarm for in the middle of the night go to the kitchen and eat some greek yogurt, or cottage cheese. just dont forget to keep track of you calories

And for training, man theres all different way's and it sometime's depends on how your body and muscle's react to different weight training methods whether it be high weight low reps descending/ascending volume, the level of intensity at a given movement, and the amount of rest between sets and lifting days. what ever you do just make sure you squating atleast twice a week heavy/light/high reps/low reps/ change it up/ front squat back squat!

this is just my experience and what i do im not saying its what you should do but its working for me. good luck with your gains and keep training bro!

Sounds like you could benefit from some protein and a program like starting strength. Once you hit about 180lbs naturally then jump on some juice.

But no matter what everyone says you're gonna jump on the juice so get some test e/c and run it for 15wks at 400-600mg and you'll be a happy man.

I'd keep it simple for a first cycle. My first real cycle was 500mg of test e for 10 weeks. I put on 25 lbs and kept about 18 of it.

I wouldn't recommend an only oral cycle since it's way harsher on your liver and you can't run them as long and injectables

Start with Test E I put on 28 pounds alone with that cycle

Week 1-12: Test E 500mg
Week 13-15: Don't take anything let the test clear out your system
Week 16-17: Nolva 40mg a day
Week 18-19: Nolva 20mg a day

Also don't forget to run an AI like Aromasain at 12.5mg EOD Week 1-12
And that's as basic as it gets man

Couldn't agree more. All the information you need is right here, but its imperative to arm yourself with as much knowledge as you possible can. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of the great articles provided. Then ask questions when some clarity is needed. Providing personal stats, goals, etc. also will be a common retort you will receive. Once you do your research and ask cogent questions, you'll see more of the answers your seeking.
