Help with Sleep

Hey lads,

Been having some chronic sleep issues for the past 12-18 months (diagnosed insomnia). Definitely worse if i have Tren or something in cycle, but have been cruising for a while now, just taking 150mg a week and 2mg of Reta so i can safely say i think it's some other issue.

I've tried all the basics, no phone before bed, settling down for an hour and reading, magnesium glycinate, melatonin, etc. You name it, i've tried it with no luck.
I've even spoken to a psychiatrist and been prescribed Seroquel which i've taken in the past and whilst it helped, made me feel terrible the next day and fucked with my metabolism.

Does anyone have any tips or have been through something similar?

Cheers guys, appreciate it

Sounds rough brother. A lot of people use hgh at night not only to aid recovery but because it can have a tendency to make you want to sleep.
Gaba helps me, turns off the chatter in the mind by slowing down neural activity.
Plenty of natural alternatives that I'm sure some of the boys will chime in with.

I'm having the same problem on TRT doses Melatonin only masks it and eventually stops working. Reta gives some people including myself sleep issues with the raised resting heart rate and low blood sugar spiking cortisol

I had to ditch Magnesium Glycinate and Collagen as well because it can have a paradoxal affect with some people. Excess GABA from the Glycine converts back into Glutamine the excitatory hormone

I've gone back to Magnesium Citrate before bed and in the process of trying Taurine and L-Theanine. Next on the list will be low dose HGH but that can affect people's sleep differently as well

I had no idea glutamine was excitatory I've been taking it before bed for years 😳

✅ HGH before bed will help (not that it’s a magical cure for sleep) but just one of its many amazing benefits

For me I also eat a very caloric dense meal right before I go to bed, I’d toss and turn so much more of if I didn’t - but that may be unique to my situation

You may find that you’ll need to implement a numbers of these options to help

Even Mk677 is great for deep rem sleep.
Apparently it’s better than HGH in this department. From reports comparing the 2 , I currently use Mk677 and my sleep improved heaps 25mg a night before bed.
Have to admit havent yet used HGH to compare myself tho. @Raptor Labs has mk677 and HGH

I was doing some research on DSIP.. apparently GOATED. Anyone here tried?

Cheers for that bro. Trying to avoid MK677 as I'm deep in a cut and using 2MG of Reta a week. When i've taken MK677 in the past my appetite was ravenous so want to avoid if possible.

Just ask your gp for a melatonin script. You can only get 2mg tabs but they seem to work for me.

Resitavit made me feel GROOGY the next day.
Tried Melatonin for a while with no success.

Restavit also nothing.

Im quite lucky i can operate well on little sleep but i know i'm leaving gains on the table. TRT defintely helps but a full 8 hours would be magic

With DSIP, it won’t make you fall asleep, it allows you to get deeper REM sleep.

I am currently using 250mcg nightly, I have noticed my REM is up but still only averaging 6hrs a night. I have terrible sleep, always have and having found anything to get me asleep faster but the DSIP is allowing me deeper sleep and feeling a little more refreshed the next day.

Do you have a night routine? Go to bed the same time, get up the same time. No screen time while in bed. Blacked out room. Cold temp, I have my aircon on 22 and always turn it on about 30mins before going to bed. Just some things to factor in.

I’ve just purchased a new supplement that I found on another forum so I’ll be interested to see how that goes, reviews on it have been awesome.

I got chronic insomnia brother, do t take anything prescribed to you it’s all fucked and the only thing that has helped me was hgh and getting off adhd meds, sleep isn’t perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better

Yea bro I took some of the meds they gave me but the sides were worse than hardly sleeping...

Glad to hear you're doing better brother. I'm sure i'll get there.

@Troy643

This might be a long shot man but IR sauna works wonders. It's a bit of an investment but totally worth it. This one is around $1100 with a chair and a floor mat from Vital+. They have Ice baths too. I'm a night owl and a terrible sleeper who's on more Drugs than a terminally ill patient and this helped me a lot. I get 1 to 2 hrs cardio and then 20 to 30 in the sauna. You don't have to be in it like a traditional sauna as it's Infrared. I take half a tab of 3mg Melatonin from Piping rock too.
