Important Lesson

So, most of you guys know that I am a Freemason. An important lesson I always keep with me is that we are all equal and should be treated as brothers. Today I did not keep up my end of that. I offended someone by my words/actions. The important part of the lesson is to man up and make it right. I had a difficult conversation with this person and we both laid it out there. I apologized and we hammered it out. I am now going to do whatever I can to make it right. In life, sometimes shit happens. People make mistakes. Please remember that honesty is key. If you fuck up, own it. It is never worth losing a friend when you have an opportunity to fix it. Don't run and hide, face it head on! Sorry for the rant but in this super busy life we need to remember how important the people in our lives are! Cheers guys!

Yea man. So many times instead of actually listening, people are thinking about their response. If you actually learn to listen to what others are saying, you can really understand their side of something. Listening is a skill we all need to work on.
