Hi all, I'm currently having a bit of problem while injecting... half way through the pinning motion I like get a of a twinge but then goes when after it goes all the way in... I pull out the syringe and no blood comes out just bubbles so I know that's not an issue but afterwards I do bleed a lot... any possible explanations to this would be much appreciated

I probably didn't explain that the best but basically every time I pin I get like a horrible twinge when the needle is like half way in when all the way in the sort of pain goes I draw to see if I've hit a vein or not and I never have because I just draw bubbles... afterwards I do lead alot

What size needle are you using?

It sounds like there is a big build up of scar tissue in the site you are injecting into. Are you rotating sites? The more sites you use, the less build up of scar tissue you will experience.

Rotate between quads, glutes, shoulders, chest and lats.

Getting a deep tissue massage on the sites you do your injections will also really help with breaking up scar tissue.

I agree, it is either this, or the needle is too thin. However, if the needle were too thin, you would have a hard time injecting right from the beginning, so I am inclined to think that it is scar tissue. You just need to rotate more the injection locations, and it will get better. The easiest way of checking it out, would be to do an injection at a different site, and see if the problem persists.

Gluteus 23g 1.5"
Quads 25g 1"
Shoulders 25-27g 5/8th or 1"
Lats.... You're a machine if you can hit it yourself. But I have no idea..
That's what I use. But personally I don't mess with my quads.. Breaks my leg badly and I need my legs to work for my job.
