Welcome to Evo. Keep up the good work. Let me know if I can help with anything.

thanks i truly appreciate all the hospitality, i hope to start a log soon and keep the community updated with my progress especially after picking up a few tips from all the hard working knowledgeable members. still so much more info to take in but I'm here for the long haul.

so far my biggest down fall has been is my diet. i do my best to eat clean but i know i don't eat enough. i know i could eat cleaner but being a single parent dad most of the grocery cart is filled with french toast sticks and flavored oatmeals and simple dinners . like my son says "you can cook dad... just not the greatest" but regardless i know i need to feed the machine more. any advise on simple meal prep while on a budget the the little one might eat?

loving the community haven't been able to get away from cpu yet, other than taking the little guy to summer camp. was supposed to be on my way to the gym now but gravitated back to the keyboard. better get out of here soon. hahaha

You can do better each day bro. Strive to improve only one thing each day. Cooking is fun just learn about heat and burn the food, a little. Would it be fair to say you have 180 lb of lean mass? Here is something quick. Just focus on the portions. Sugar = any carbs without fat. Meal 1 can be split around your workout.

appreciate it brother, had to do something quick didn't want my son to go without anymore than what we lost already. needed to get back on that bull and stop feeling sorry for myself.

Welcome aboard. I hope we can offer some of the support you need. As far as healthy food on a budget - roaster chickens. They're cheap, already cooked and good for you (I eat 2 a day on cycle). Plus you can turn it into whatever and the kids love it. ( I've got 3 kids so you can imagine my grocery budget😊). Chicken fajitas, chicken soup, chicken curry, etc

something i defiantly gotta try. i know I'm making way to big of a deal out of it , but my wife would do all the cooking and boy could she could cook. i lost her 6 years ago and we have been going with the flow ever since

thank you brother, I'm here for the long haul for sure. I've already been getting some great advise from some of the brothers here in the Evo family, and still trying to take in all the info.
