Hey I am stuck and was told to post this since I am a new member.

Age: 33
Height: 6'5
Weight: 230lbs
BF %: ~12-13%

I am a very, very clean eater and I am usually around 8-10% BF and around 220-225 lbs. I workout everyday, but I don't lift weights everyday. On my off lifting days I usually do a HIIT session and abs. I am a clean eater and do not eat preserved food except for your occasional protein bar due to the fact that I teach and coach. I was diagnosed with Low Test when I was 26 and I have been on a lot of things from the doctor over the years with trying to jump start my production. I have been on clomid, HCG, Androgel, etc. Just in the past 3 years I am not on a permanent 1 mL of test cypionate every other week. I was told by the doctor that I am going to have to take injections pretty much for the rest of my life because they were unable to get it kick started with the clomid and HCG. At age 26 my test was around 30 yes that is not a mistype of 300 but 30. I have recently gotten bloodwork done on the 21st and my test is at 115. It really fluctuates but the doc doesn't know why. I have never been on a "steriod cycle" before even though the doc always asks. The reason why is because I look in pretty good shape, this is really due to my good eating habits.

I follow the IIFYM.com calculator but really don't know if those calories are accurate to get shredded, like I want. Right now I am on 300c/80f/275p. Like i mentioned before I am a very clean eater (oats, brown rice, sweet potato, chicken, fish, broccoli, rice cakes, quest bars)

I have been doing a typical push/pull/leg routine, but on each day I have one focused lift then I add typical auxiliary lifts with each day to finish workout. On each day I also work myself up to a set of 2-3 then work my way back down like a pyramid.

Push: Bench or OHP
Pull: Deads or Rack pulls
Legs: Squats

On the off days I do HIIT: Sprints, Cycles or battle ropes. I typically do a 20 secs all out then about a 1 min rest. Your typical 1:4 work to rest ratio for HIIT.

I guess its all on my diet but I really do not know what to do because like i said before i eat pretty clean. I also do eat out once a week with my wife for a cheat meal

I really do not want to add like 20-30lb of muscle or anything like that so I figured that a couple of cycles of Anavar would do me good with the TRT. Thoughts?? Just don't know where to get some "good" gear
 
Anavar is a good choice for an oral. It is mild and many guys hesitate a good anavar cycle because of cost but its hard to beat for good quality lean gains.
 
Any other suggestions? I mean I don't understand why I cannot accomplish what I want due to me bustin ass in the gym and body does not change what so ever. It is frustrating
 
Have you tried HIT Rest Pause ? i have seen many a big boy like yourself shatter plateus with this type of training. Just a suggestion.

I already do HIIT sessions with hill sprints, battle ropes, and bike. I have also done the rest pause approach, Time under tension, etc. I don't know if it is my workout routine or diet. I alway bust ass no matter what routine. I alway switch up my routine every 8-12 weeks depending on the elongation of the particular routine.
 
My only other suggestion would be to cut some of that cardio. And relax on rest days. Give your nervous system time to reboot. Soungs like you are literally busting your ass too hard brother. I wish you the best. Sometimes the exact opposite of what we think we need is the remedy. If you are doing big compound lifts like that frequently the taxation on the nervous system can hinder it's ability to help you recover effectively.
 
This dude does not need Anavar!!! He need a proper TRT protocol.. how long after your shot of 200mg of test-c did you get your blood test?
Hell yeah your levels are going to fluctuate taking a test shot every other week..

I will give this a try. Now I only do 1 or 2 sessions a week. I just can't get ride of this bike tire around my waist

I get my bloodwork done at the halfway point of the two weeks. I also have done 100mg every week and my doc thought that would keep me at a moderate level.
 
If you arnt wanting to put weight on why use var? Why not another product. I don't agree w the var recos.

From what I understand is that var is a mild steroid that it is used for more of a shredding compound and that the user will gain but not a lot. I am not trying to look like Ronnie or jay.

Huge misconception. It is not a cutter. Plus taking some products won't make u look like jay cutler. Lol. That takes years if you really wanna make some.nice slow steady clean gains go more primo.

Forgot to mention that I do appreciate the advise, if I don't put with my responses. I have been a high school and college athlete and just trying to stay in shape and looking for a lean/athletic look. With a wife and daughter I don't want to get to crazy

OK so you took 200mg of test-c and one week later got a blood test and your total testosterone level was only in the 100's? Your doctor said by only taking 100mg every week would keep your test level low... but does not have a problem with it being on a rollercoaster with a shot every other week....

Bro I am as shocked as you are. It seems like every time I go in there I get something different. I got bloodwork done on the 12th and it was at 330 and then got another one done on the 21st and it dropped to 116.

I really have been needing to go to another doctor. My wife and I are both pissed. My LH and FSH literally been at 0 and my wife and I were shocked, even the doc, when we got pregnant. Anyway I been just wanting to get on a moderate level, I believe the fluctuation might be the thing that might be causing the no muscle gain or fat lose.

I really don't like the injections, this is why my wife gives them to me. I alway thought that var was taken for a "pre-contest" because it causes no water retention and leans you out/ hardens you. I do a lot of research but just have no actual use. This was the main reason why I am on this site.

No. False misconception. The only thing oral would harden you u up would be winstrol. But even that is just a tool. The right diet is what leans you out and hardens you u up. I would still suggest primo and have your wife do the injection. Its mild but slow and steady gains and low sides if almost none when used properly.

Bro I appreciate your advise I really do. My diet is like I mentioned clean. No packaged foot except the occasional protein bar but everything else is lean meats and veggies, oats, sweet potatoes, broccoli, etc. I really don't understand because I literally weigh everything I put in my mouth, my wife hates it. I use the iifym.com calculator but don't really or can't really find the right macros.

Then ur diets seems fine you just need to use some good stuff. Lol. I would do primo. Or a trt level of testosterone plus some equipose. Either one will get you a little boost to the next level.

If your taking testosterone its not unusual for your LH and FSH to be at 0.. You also said they tryed to get your natural test levels up with HCG and clomid with mo luck.. Did you get an MRI to check your pituitary gland? One thing I know from having low t, once you get stable good testosterone level you will have much better success in the gym..
I would find a new doc for your trt...

The only other test the doc did was a glucose tolerance test. Now with taking the clomid and HCG my test did rise but when they tapered me off to see if my test kicked started it dropped. I took that stuff when I was in my lat twenties, I have been on straight test for the past 3 years. The doc said that the highest amt of test for get is maxed at 200mg every two weeks or 100mg every week. They limit it only so that I do not develop gyno. This is also why I get bloodwork every month or so. Trust me when I was around 850ish I was feeling great and I told him that this week. But he indicated to me that he does not like having me that high, I am waiting to hear back from him and it probably won't be until Monday or so.

I know everyone is different, but for me 200mg per week was not bad. I was only taking 1mg of amdrex a week to keep my E2 in check. Do you know what your E2 level is? Hell this could be part of the problem your having now...

My doc does check my estrogen and has recently checked my cortisol because he thought that I worked out too much and producing to much as well. Both were in normal ranges. I know it seems my body is all fucked up and don't know why.
 
Yep, definitely find a new doc. I run 250mg week test with no signs of estro flair up. No water retention or gyno, or any other symptoms. Just feel great. I found it easier and cheaper just to do my own trt.
It's amazing how many doctors are scientifically illiterate. There's literally only a handful of med professionals that are science based doctors.
I know tons of guys who feel your pain.
Just do your research and keep your options open.
The bi monthly shots are just nonsense. Just look at the half life of the esters.
With your current option though go for 100ew to keep levels stable.
 
You're macros (in my opinion) are backwards for your goals. Lean more towards ketogenic id suggest. More fat, much fewer carbohydrates.

I have tried a keto diet for a few months and had no change. You cannot run it for a long due to the ketone build up. I was trying to find a diet where I did not have to change much and I have tried them all for months at a time: carb back load, keto, IF, and now flexible/iifym. Even with running all of these I get no change in strength, size, or energy

Venom is my go-to. Hmm, as far as diet goes I don't have a suggestion off the top of my head. Perhaps amp up weekly lifting to more often since your cortisol was normal. Longer and more intense, as in lower weight and a shit load more reps. Do you drink caffeine? Do you have proper iodine levels?

First of thanks for the advice. Yeah diet is alway weird because you can have guys that can eat pizza and burgers and stay lean and you have guys like me who don't eat shit but veggies and lean mean and can't lean out. I will defiantly do more intense workouts with some high reps and drop sets. Fiber is 10-12grams per 1000 calories

Get thyroid checked if you have not already...Some docs are not as thorough as they should be.....My wife did 4 to 5 spin classes a week and ate about 1500 calories a day and could not loose weight....After a year of frustration she saw doctor..Doc said her thyroid was not right....everything changed for her once her thyroid was fixed.....Only a suggestion....T-3 is great if you know what your doing but it can fuck you up big time if you do not know how to cycle it....Might be worth asking the doc about....

Factor but I'm sure your doc checked but somehow I don't trust blood tests on iodine considering there are other substances that confuse the body on iodine so somehow I doubt a man made test could tell the difference. Could be wrong
