can i make my own protein bars with splenda? i tend to have high sugar levels, so i don't want to use regular sugar, i read online the problem with those sweeteners is they contain some ingredients not suitable for your health.

You can make your own protein bars by mixing together protein powder + oatmeal + natural almond butter + just enough water to make it all into a paste and form it into bars. Then roll the protein bars in shredded coconut to prevent them from sticking together. You can also add raisins, dried fruit etc. to the bars. Oatmeal and raisin with vanilla protein powder is out of this world good.

If you are looking for a protein powder that is naturally flavoured, check out isolation from n2bm.com. It is a pure whey isolate that is naturally flavoured and sweetened with the calorie free natural sweetener stevia. The vast majority of protein powders on the market are flavoured and sweetened with artificial flavours and sweeteners.

I've been making bars for years with Stevia. Just make sure you taste test the different brands as some are garbage compared to others.

Yeah, just dont make a tons of bars before actually trying and tasting one that you made out. Otherwise if they turn out to be a big flavour mistake, a lot of ingredients go to waste

@muskate has given above quite an interesting recipe. Personally, I have never made myself protein bars, but this looks interesting - will definitely give it a try, especially considering the fact that I stocked up on the Isolation from N2BM, so I have plenty to use with awesome taste.

You can definitely make bars with splenda. I also prefer stevia as mentioned above. There are tons of recipes out there. Always keep a good stock of Isolation Vanilla on hand as it is great to cook with.
