Reviewing bloodwork

When reviewing your bloodwork, what is your criteria for good vs bad bloodwork?

Aside from hormones, is the aim to have everything within the reference range (i.e, cholesterol, liver values, red blood cell count, etc.)?

Or, is there an acceptable / target level outside the ranges that you still feel is healthy for short term I.e during a blast, for any particular markers?

For example, my cholesterol has gone from pretty good within the range whilst on TRT, to about 1 point out on HDL and LDL during a blast (8 weeks in, 700mg per week). BP is good.

I’m wanting to run this blast for another 8 weeks and not sure if I should be adjusting based on the mid point bloods, or if there’s some markers that will just be out of whack temporarily.

Not chasing specific advice on my situation as I haven’t provided anywhere near enough info for that, I’m just trying to get a feel for how more experienced people go about things so I can learn.

Hoping some of the experienced older bulls can guide this young(ish) calf. Appreciate anyone’s input.

On a blast, some blood markers will shift, that’s expected. Key things like blood pressure, hematocrit, and kidney/liver values should stay in range. Cholesterol and liver enzymes often move a bit, but as long as it’s not extreme, it’s usually manageable short term. Slightly low HDL or high LDL isn’t ideal, but not a deal breaker if BP and other markers are solid.
