im 19 years old wanting to know what supplements to take, just starting and not sure if i want to use pills or not

Your best supplements at this age will be good food and enough sleep/rest. Also, it would be rather safe to use creatine and BCAA's. Other than that, there is no need to use anything. Test boosters won't do much of a difference for you at this age, so I would not waste money on them. Don't even think about PED's, such as anabolic steroids and SARMS, since at this age you can easily mess with your hormones.

No supplements are needed at 19. Your body is already primed to grow and build muscle. Focus on training hard and eating a well balanced diet with at least 1g of protein per pound of body weight.

If you want to supplement with something - supplement with a high quality protein supplement to help meet your body's daily protein requirement. N2BM.com just released their new protein flavour PB Crunch. It is out of this world and very affordable. $40 for 5 pounds. That is what I am currently using personally and recommend. https://www.needtobuildmuscle.com/store/Whey-to-Build-Muscle-p290.html

I had a little pre-workout which really helped considering when I was 18-19 I was crammed with full time university and work so having that caffeine kick really helped with my workouts .

You can't go wrong with a simple protein shake for after your workouts to help with muscle recovery. Maybe even a pre workout if you need something to help push you through your workout.

While supplements will not hurt you, at 19 they won't provide huge benefits either. You are at a perfect age to learn how to eat and train properly. Focus your time and energy on that.
