Testosterone replacement therapy for life?

Im nearly 34...will i need it? I find it hard now to put on muscle and lose belly fat even with diet and cardio..
In the past i have done one cycle on Deca, dbol and Test..

Im thinking to another cycle soon either EQ/TEST or TBOL/TEST....or is GH best for my age.

Can i benefit from TRT??

Only a blood test can answer the question - have you had a blood test done that measures total T, free T, total estrogen and such?

tell his ass you don't feel good, and you fatigue easily, that you don't have any drive anymore. It is his obligation to try and help you. Tell him you want blood work done to see if your test is where it needs to be. If not, its not going to hurt anything, and could enlighten as to why you are having the symptoms you are.

Research the symptoms of low testosterone. They are many, they can be vague, and docs tend to look at them each as a separate problem. We usually go to the doc because we have low energy, or can't sleep, etcetera- we don't hand them a list and say "I think all 10 of these issues are from the same problem. ". That's how you need to approach modifying your habits to help yourself, and that is the idea you need to convince the doc to look into. Educate yourself intensely on low testosterone and the things we do that can decrease or increase levels- then use that to present your doc with the big picture. Most docs are willing to look into something as long as they can justify it to a boss or insurance company and won't violate policy. Good luck.

I'm 36 and thought the same thing. Just went into my primary and asked for blood work; specifically testosterone and others. She said if it was low, it's easy to fix with some injections; like it's no biggie. Blood work came came back, and my testosterone was at 800. No shots for me I guess.

I've been thinking about getting blood work, sorry to be so ignorant but what is "800" referring to? 800 what? What numbers are considered too low where the doc would prescribe you some injections?

This was my total testosterone. Got blood work done for my pre cycle. Normal range is 250-836; at least that's what was on my blood work.

44 years of age here and have been on doctor prescribed TRT for just over 14 months. Best decision I ever made to be honest. I feel 24.

I feel you my man i am 46 been down that road.
Have a docror or endocrineologist send you for the blood work. I never speak unless i have exp. With a situation. Very easy. And HOPEFULLY THE DOC IS ONE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE TALKING TO.
Good luck.
Good guys here alot more knowledgable than me they can help

I'm 39 and went to my doc two years ago with low energy symptoms, low libido etc. They ran blood panels and came back my test was in fact low. They started me on Androgel which seemed to help a little. My main concern was the potential contact with my kids which could cause hormonal issues for them. I expressed this to my provider and he asked if I had any issues administering my own injections. From that point on I have been pinning my own Pharm grade test cyp for over a year now. Only issue is that it is 100mg which makes it a little bit of a pain to plan a cycle on it because of the amount I have to pin. But so far I have managed to make it work well. My energy levels have been much better and now open the door to pinning other compounds to accentuate my physique. Bottom line is get bloodwork done and be honest and open with your symptoms and its more likely you will get what you need to feel better.

I have been doing trt for 2 years now and luv it.More energy.sex drive through the roof.I dont feel tired till my pinning is due.Think about it.It is for life. Now Im going to do deca, my prescribed test cyp.dbol.

I been on it awhile.....It all cool if you can get dialed in with the estrogen and where you feel best and then blast 1 or 2 times a year, but you got to be ready to commit....Good thing you can travel with test once you to it.....

Gentlemen, responding to a 3 month old post shows many members you aren't paying attention- after all- the OP issue or question has just been sitting there, so responding 3 months after the fact isn't likely to be helpful. If you have questions/ concerns and would like feedback on your own question or issue, or even just want to "compare notes" with others, feel free to start a thread where you introduce yourself and begin the discussion. You'll find veteran member far more receptive and helpful because they'll take you more seriously.
