Common myth. Yet guys still do it. Some guys even swear by it. Let's assume that it is true, it would be so negligible that I don't think you would notice a difference. On one hand, logically it does somewhat make sense, but it's just not the way the body works. Kinda the same way you can take medicine orally to kill an infection in your foot.

you are confusing synthol with steroids

also if the injection is poor and you get tissue irritation you will get an expansion of the area which makes it look bigger, that is probably why the myth exists

Synthol is bad bad bad !!! The only steroid I know that had a temporary effect locally was esiclene... I don’t think they even make that anymore anywhere though.
