Looking to add NPP or DECA into a cycle I'm starting soon, I'm unsure of which to go for I know both have pros and cons
But what are your guys thoughts and/or experiences with either or?
Thanks
Well DEca is a long ester with a long half life where as NPP is short. So couple things to consider...recovery, pinning and goals of cycle and cycle length.
Can u tell us more about the upcoming cycles length and lay it out a bit as far as goals.
Thanks and welcome to evo
NPP is easier to recover from. I only pin npp 3 times a week as opposed to twice for DECA so its only one extra pin.
I didn't get as much strength from npp but I didn't bloat as much and I kept more gains because there was much less water.
Question did you pin the NPP and Deca to have the same total mg's/wk? Like npp is usually 100mg/ml but deca varies from 250 to 300+?
Sry I'm just curious and I trust u know what u r doing I just wanted to ask brother.
Yes sir!!! I knew, u knew what was up. I do like NPP for short blast....deca a cruiser for me.That's another thing. The price. You can pay the same for 10ml of 100mg npp as 10ml of 250mgof DECA. I pinned the same amount of each bit the DECA ester is heavier so you actually get more nandrolone from NPP.
Note: only a tiny bit more.

My source has a sale so I got NPP for steal. I prefer NPP to deca any day
lol mine did too...hmmmmmmm....but I get a bottle of deca for cruise too.

From memory I think DECA has 64mg of nandrolone per 100mg and npp has 67mg per 100mg. But these numbers mightn't be exact
If those are correct then not much difference.
bonacris do you think how much available mg over the shorter half life. the longer half life needs to be taken into consideration as well?

EER you know you could actually run less total mg with NPP than with Deca and have similar gains. The total mg available with shorter esters is greater than available with longer esters. I would have to look up the phenyl prop ester vs. decanoate ester to figure out exactly how much less.

if your not going to stay on 14wks dont even look at deca.
With front load of 2.5 times the regular dose you'd be good to go at week 3 easy....
yes but the diff is minimal imo.
Uhhh OK wait. Isn't npp and DECA the same thing. Lol. Nandrolone phenyl propionate better known as deca-durabolin

So really this is a discussion about whether to use prop or cypionate really. But DECA. Lol.

So the guys who get BP issues on NPP, how high were u running it and with how much test?
Well, I've run it many times, but the last time, where it got completely out of control, I was doing 600mg NPP, 500mg Test E weekly. So nothing crazy, but my BP went sky high. Ended up in the hospital for four days, they couldn't get it under control. Scary.
DECA durabolin is DECA
Durabolin is NPP
Which is the same thing but diff esters. Again prop cyp debate. LolNah.
Nandrolone decanoate is Deca-Durabolin
Nandrolone phenylpropionate is npp

Yet are you taking into consideration the increased active compound due to the shorter ester? In my opinion NPP has to be ran higher than deca to get the same results. This is due to a much longer half life of deca which results in a higher blood plasma concentration. Whereas npp clears the system quickly deca continues to build and build.
The ratio to compare benefits is approximately 1:1.5 Deca/Npp. So when a normal starting dose of deca is 400 mg/ week the comparable npp dose is 600 mg/ wk. I hope you guys aren't running NPP at 300-400 mg because you won't get much out of it, unless you are new to cycling, which many of you probably are.
